I merely made a passing reply that it could be the s/b, new in now at cast change and wouldn't be beyond the realms of possibility.... I'm not getting ahead though, never seen The Tucker so can't wait to do so!! I want to see her too. Seeing a video of her singing Defying Gravity was the reason I saw Wicked in the first place.

She is not extending. The press release says she is there until January, along with Anita and Katie. The rest will be seeing out the full contract.

I don't hear her singing voice as an Elphaba but I can't wait to see her!

I don't hear her singing voice as an Elphaba but I can't wait to see her! At least she's someone completely new to the Wicked family - the breeze of fresh air the London production desperately needs. And yes, I can neither wait to see her. Hopefully they'll announce Rachel's holiday dates rather sooner than later (provided she has any). As I'm assuming that they'll be doing 9 show weeks over Christmas and New Year's, Alice should at least be doing one each. There's also a rendition of her singing Wizard and I on Youtube.

My interest in Wicked has vanished with current cast. Hopeful the new cast will get me excited again. Should do with Tucker back

Oh, it wasn't a criticism as such, I'm also glad there is new blood. I think once she's in costume, character etc. it all starts to fit. I'm sure she will have shows before Christmas anyway, Rachel tends to call out once every couple of weeks at least - also not a criticism!

I've listened to a few videos of Alice Fearn on Youtube and she sounds wonderful. Excited to hear her Elphaba at some point!

I think Rachel called out at least once every week recently on Bway, but I don't think it was on a certain day. If you're willing to make last minute trips Michael I think you should be good seeing Alice

I think Rachel called out at least once every week recently on Bway, but I don't think it was on a certain day. If you're willing to make last minute trips Michael I think you should be good seeing Alice If you live in or close to London, you can just rush to the Apollo Victoria once they've announced that Rachel is off. But for us foreigners, it's slightly more difficult. Also, flights tend to be pretty pricey if you buy them on short notice. That's why I'm so grateful that Wicked UK usually announce their cast holidays way in advance so that I can make my travel arrangements if I want to specifically see a standby. I think Alice will be bumped up to full-time Elphaba once Rachel leaves, but if she doesn't, she'll continue as standby and someone else takes over as lead, so I've got an entire year to see her. Should be manageable.

I listened to Alice singing The Wizard and I and I was very underwhelmed to be honest. But let's see, maybe she had an off-day

Emma scheduled to be off tonight and Natalie McQueen was on, but Natalie has tweeted she's had to go off mid-way through the matinee in her track....
Expecting a rare Laura Emmitt show tonight for all you lucky people in London!!

Has Natalie A left the show for good? Not sure I've seen anything saying Natalie A has left, but every time Emma has been off Natalie McQueen has been on!

I'm slightly worried I must admit. She was a trouper back at Rock of Ages and never off (bar holidays of course).

I'm slightly worried I must admit. She was a trouper back at Rock of Ages and never off (bar holidays of course). Towards the end of Rock of Ages' run she did actually have quite a bit of time off ill, but up until then, yes, it seemed like she was rarely off unless scheduled. She posted a photo on Instagram last week with the caption 'Feeling better face' so I think she's just been off ill all this time. Really hope she's back before her contract ends.
