I got an email from ATG's West End newsletter to say that this had been extended to September 2020. Looks like this will be here to stay and rightly so! I was massively jetlagged from travelling when I saw it but I still felt very emotional and touched by the show, and it is great to know that I will have another chance to see it. This show deserves a long and healthy run. I can see it easily achieving three years and maybe even longer. Glad it has really caught on with positive word of mouth. There are people who I work with who rarely see shows who have heard of it and have tickets booked.

I saw this tonight and thought it was excellent. Definitely worthy of all the praise it has received.
Although 90% of the music sounded very similar to me, it suited the story well, it had great pacing and I thought the staging was great too.
Soooooo much better than Waitress last week.

Yeah, probably just the extension. I wonder if there’ll be any casting changes?

I think it is far too early for a tour. I think it could be a big announcement if they are waiting til Friday. Extension, cast recording and cast change combined perhaps?

Be very surprised if it's a cast recording, almost never happens (sadly) where Broadway ones already exist. It would be a somewhat niche purchase for the fans (not that that's a bad thing of course) and couldn't go anywhere commercially. Perhaps they'll treat us to a live recording with bonus audience coughing like Kinky Boots did.

Hasn't it just been extended to September 2020 so why would they announce another extension already?

Why the comparison to Waitress? Probably because they're two Broadway transfers that came to London at a very similar time, and also because it's the last show the poster saw previous to CFA?

Rachel Tucker seems to have announced at her Stages Cruise concert that she;s leaving the show in Feb. So what is the source for the person upthread who said she is staying and fitting in gigs around it? Difficult to decide which second hand report to believe at the minute!

I’m sure she tweeted that herself after the gigs were announced and people started asking if she was leaving. If Feb is true then I need to hurry up and see her in CFA.

I can't see anything on her Twitter about leaving, only that she is doing Jan/Feb gigs around CFA.

Extra matinee added Friday November 22nd at 5pm. Great chance for a two show Friday (will finish around 18:45 so plenty time to get to another show)

Extra matinee added Friday November 22nd at 5pm. Great chance for a two show Friday (will finish around 18:45 so plenty time to get to another show) And the evening show is pushed back to 8.30pm. No show on the Monday (18th) as they’re performing at Royal Variety, which is why they’ve added the extra show on Friday
