I’m in Canada for half term and saw this feature-length documentary: It’s very good and I hope BBC’s Storyville or similar picks it up.

Saw this this afternoon and thought it was brilliant. A great piece of theatre. Love how the band are involved on stage at times

I land at Heathrow today at 17.40. I'm supposed to pick up a rush ticket at 19.15. I've moved my seat to as close to the door as possible, I'm planning on running, I'm sort of freaking out a bit. Wish me luck!

I had to run from QPark in Chinatown last Thursday- the first time I genuinely thought I would miss a show. My sister and I sprinted, the box office staff already had my tickets under the window gap to pass, and an usher ran down the steps with us whilst trying to read our tickets! As we were jogging to the seats I said 'can I please buy a bottle of water', I thought I was going to faint! And low and behold just as the lights went down the usher brought us 3 big glasses of water! Made it by the skin of my teeth.
Massive props to the Pheonix FOH team! There wasn't an interval to go and thank them either!

With a non-EU passport, just trying to convince the immigration officer that you have no illegal intentions lasts 20 minutes. The queuing is never less than an hour and a half in my experience. However, you do get a chance to answer trick questions such as 'But why did you have to come to the UK to watch theatre shows? Aren't there any theatres in your or some other country?'

She's Swedish though. So it should be fine I reckon!

15 minutes from plane door to tube station! Lots of jogging, lots of "excuse me, sorry, thank you!", no luggage, no line for passport control (thankful for epassports and EU citizenship!). I'll make it with room to spare! Guys you have no idea how excited I am - by biggest regret from my Broadway trip in October was missing this.
Thank you for the well wishes, everyone! ❤️

Saw this last night and thought it was absolutely brilliant - so moving and uplifting at the same time. Whole cast were phenomenal - one name I haven't seen mentioned that much that I thought deserved a mention was Jonathan Andrew Hume - he was hilarious at times, but heartbreaking at other times.

So the end two seats in the first few rows of the stalls.... how extreme is the viewing angle and is it worth saving £20 each to sit there? Thanks in advance!

I said before there was one little bit where they all looked at someone and I couldn't see them at the side but on reflection I think it was just that half the band are stood at that side and I couldn't see them unless they moved into the middle. I didn't miss anything else at all and was happy with the seat. It would have been nice to be a bit further back or more central but it's fine and worth the cost saving!

I'm seeing the show at the matinee today.
Really hoping I love it as much as the majority of you lot do.

I am just out of today’s matinee, and all I have to say is WOW! Just WOW!!
A stunning, towering achievement of musical theatre, so beautifully crafted. Joyous, uplifting, moving. The script, the songs...just everything blew me away and has made me truly lost for words. It makes you cry (ugly tears!), then laugh the next moment (and there are some real belly laughs in this) and does so in a way that is never jarring. Plus, all of this is done with just some tables and chairs, and some clever lighting, proving you do not need fancy sets, just a great piece to really engage.
The company deliver the material with aplomb, and it really comes across that they feel blessed to be in the show. It feels like a cast of more than it is, as they morph so completely into the different characters that they play, that it is almost like a different actor for each role. They really deserve an ensemble award at the Oliviers.
In fact, this show deserves ALL the awards! I cannot see how anything could be better than this, this year. I doubt I will see a better musical this year, and it is probably the best new musical I have seen in recent memory. A show about humanity, about creating something positive in the darkest of times. The people in this story shared this moment in time together, and I think that is what the matinee audience felt today. I urge all of you to go. I will certainly be recommending to friends, and if I can, going for another visit.
To end where I started...WOW! I am an islander! Now I need to go and cry alone somewhere for a moment.
5 stars.

I was in today’s matinee too & there’s nothing I can really say which hasn’t already been said. What a remarkable show!
It truly has everything; way more laughs than I expected- there’s genuinely a few laugh out loud sequences which didn’t feel out of place at all.
And as expected, Rachel Tucker’s ‘Me and the Sky’ is a showstopper! What a perfect vocal performance.
I wish that the show would never end, i was gutted when the lights came up and it was over. It got an instant and well-deserved standing ovation from pretty much everyone I could see. An easy 5 stars from me.

Can't match the eloquence of the words of the last two posters but must also heartily echo what they say. I was also at the matinee and had tried to avoid the reviews as did not want to over hype it in my mind and come away disappointed. If anything it has not been hyped enough! It's the most wonderful and heartfelt piece of theatre.
Am incredible cast and a very solid five star show. This will run and run.
I was overjoyed to get my pin badge too! ☺

Sorry if this has all ready been discussed but does anyone know where the TodayTix seats are and if they are any good. Also if someone who is a mere 5 foot high can see from one of the dayseats. Any help much appreciated.
