It's only a month-long run - any chance it'll transfer? I'll be away most of that month, only day I could go is the 10th but I'll have literally got back from Oz the day before so not sure if it's a good idea from a jet-lag perspective.

Was just at lunch and saw Baz's tweet... Shortened my break to come back and book!
Tickets are going VERY fast for some dates with limited choice.

In my panic to book managed to book completely the wrong day but disappearing seats sent me into something of a frenzy, can at least do the date, just isn't what I intended to book.

I bet this transfers.
Especially as I have just, insanely, booked a ticket for the day after I get back from Australia. It's the only possible day I can do. Chances that I fall asleep/miss it due to extreme jetlag are high.
Couldn't risk sitting at home Saturday afternoon feeling fine, knowing I could have gone, if it doesn't transfer.
It will now, of course.

I'm not so sure this will transfer. Ms Mulligan is a bona fide star but a one woman show about domestic abuse may not be a commercial certainty.
On another note, there is an interesting bit of parry and thrust on Twitter between Baz and Shenton about the casting announcement. I call it 1-0 to Baz.

How can this be a play if there's only one part? Or is Ms Mulligan playing multiple roles? Otherwise it's a monologue in my book, and therefore a turn-off - but I doubt the Royal Court will miss my business!

I may be in the minority here but I would be disappointed if I'd booked to see a play and then subsequently found out, with no prior indication given, that it was a monologue, no matter how good the performer. I have seen some great monologue plays like Scaramouche Jones, Faith Healer and Molly Sweeney but it is not my preferred form. |

Oh come now, Parsley, I know you love a good drama, but making a comment on the plays section of a theatreboard about- wait for it- a play hardly equates with wailing and gnashing of teeth. You should have seen me on Tuesday, our kid!

Good definition, TM. Similarly Faith Healer is a play made up of four monologues.
Plenty of other examples - the ones above, Misterman, My Name is Rachel Corrie, The Year of Magical Thinking, Krapp's Last Tape, The Testament of Mary
Agree with Rory I'd want to know this before booking though!
