Just back (well OK after a few sherries with friends) from Lip service and their production of "Mr Darcy looses the plot"
A very fine and inventive evening of theatre. I laughed a lot but I can't help thinking it was about reactionary jokes to soothe middle Englanders.
Do they have a large gay following or was it just my imagination?

No idea about their following in general but my sister and I (both older, straight, white and female) love Lip Service; it's just so hard to catch them on a tour date as they tend not to venture into central London, let alone south. As an Austen fan I'd particularly like to see the current production but no chance when I last checked the tour dates/venues. Last time I tried to see them I had to travel to Hertfordshire and for an 8 pm performance which was hopeless, as inevitably I couldn't stay awake.
