Singalong performance perhaps? Sure I saw an interview with Toby and Lucy a few weeks ago where they said tbey wanted to do a late night singalong performance at some point.

Good job this isn’t Waitress the musical putting out an announcement for an announcement... that would be terrible.

The idea of all those teenagers attempting to sing Heart of Stone literally sends chills down my spine.

Edinburgh resident production. Thanks. It's had two years in Edinburgh, with the Fringe generally considered a launch platform (of sorts) and the rest of the year booked in London I'm not sure it needs another residency up there. Plus June isn't June a bit early?

Are they moving to a larger theatre?

I'm front row for the first time on Thursday night - looking forward to it but glad that I'm far enough to the side that I should avoid any audience participation! I'm seeing this for the first time in March and have booked a front row seat. Not keen on being involved in any audience participation, is there something I should know ?

Plus June isn't June a bit early? I just want to see it again up here, as I live in the Edinburgh area, I love Six, and I can't visit London as much as I want to. I mean, is it likely to visit again this year? No. But in future? Definitely.

My guess is either another tour or a singalong performance/karaoke night

You sound see it from the front row if possible. No audience participation is required. Although if you don't get on your feet at the end you may be beheaded!

No problem with that of course and yes I am seeing it from the front row, which I do for every show I go to when available.
Alison's post concerned me that there was front row audience participation so I'm reassured now.

I saw this last night - one of the queens does talk to (or at) someone in the front row, but they're not required to respond. The same queen got someone up to dance, but it was someone who was clearly willing to do it - I don't think she'd have chosen someone who clearly didn't want to.

I've seen her choose someone who has refused to get up to dance before. That's all I meant on the audience participation front.

I have only been approached once and just quietly said No Thank You.
Being of advancing years with white and limited hair I'm not the type of person usually selected anyway.

To clear things up, yes if you're front row (particularly on audience right) there are moments where you'll be talked at. In the song Get Down, Alexia picks someone to get up and dance - you don't have to but chances are she'll make a joke if you don't, for example one show I saw the person didn't dance and she said "Can't get up? Reminds me of my ex!" so that may be more mortifying to you than just dancing 😂 If you're on audience left you should be pretty safe.

Finally booked for this! I'm so excited and I might even get a second cover queen because I'm going on a two show day when one of the queens is on holiday 🤗🤗

Or just stay seated and awkwardly laugh, it's all anyone will expect of you, it won't pull focus, and it'll be over before you know it.

When I went to Glasgow I WANTED to be picked on, as it was such a funny and unexpected moment in Edinburgh. But I've always been in the second row. I wanna be in the front row.

I’m an however going to hope that it sells out super quick and I’m not tempted as my bank balance isn’t too great right now, and I know I’d fall down the singalong rabbit hole very quickly and book for any future ones too.
