Interested in seeing this one, as I remember the original Broadway production 2-3 years ago with Alec Baldwin, not exactly getting the review he wanted from the New York Times and subsequently throwing an almighty hissy-fit.
So here we are with the play at the mighty Southwark Playhouse.
The play is set in Philly where 2 orphan brothers live together one very streetwise the other one simple and very agoraphobic which is driven by his thuggish and controlling brother, the streetwise brother brings home a strange man under the premise of sex, but wants to rob him and finds out he is worth a fortune, as his briefcase holds bonds. A kidnap ensues............
A 3 hander here with the best acting in London at the moment, I remember Mitchell Mullen was brilliant here in Superior Donuts and he is here too.
last week.
