If you could be a fly on the wall for a night backstage on any show, what would it be and why?

Dreamgirls. For some reason I imagine the drama that goes on behind the scenes and in the wings is like a soap opera.
Imagine Amber, Marisha and Karen all fighting over Effie's costume, whoever wins goes on.

Do I have to say it....
Angels. Not least because that backstage team is an utter machine. (I'm still counting it even though it's closed)
Also any show with a dog in it.

Aladdin just to fly around and try figure out the technicalities of that damn carpet Also Groundhog Day, to watch the wonders of the machine from a different perspective.

Any show with Tom Bateman in it. Especially in the dressing room when he has to get changed.
Failing that, Funny Girl would have been fun on "technical difficulties" night. It would have been a scream watching them try to prise the curtain out of Sheridan's claw-like grip.

Les Mis only to find out when people are off so I can see covers. And also how they go about working the show when too many people are off for swings to cover. I have seen many cut shows but but curious to how dance & asst dance captian figure it all out. My wierdest thing I do is if there is a cut show try to figure out which parts will be done and by who.

Les Mis for me too. I have always had a fancy to join in during the barricade ensemble numbers. Once i was backstage I could sneak on and do that.
Just like Judi Dench in fact Mind you, I can't carry a tune in a bucket, so maybe it's just as well I haven't been afforded the opportunity...

It would be fascinating to watch scene changes at one of the big opera houses such as the ROH or the Met where they have the technology to move entire sets on & off stage as one. I'd also love to see Peter Pan Goes Wrong from the wings to see how they manage to make such quick changes when the revolve is doing its out of control revolving.
