Just had a look at tonight's performance online - 9 of the 16 front row day seats are still available 2 hours before the show, and are now reduced to £12.50 I just had a gander at the performance too, it seems either the Grand and Balcony are sold out, or are closed. I suspect the latter sadly. Definitely the latter. Availability is huge for this show.

It will hang on another month or so won't it?

It will hang on another month or so won't it? The marketing has made quite a big deal about the final extension going to September 2nd, so I reckon they won't go any earlier than that!

I do hope they tour it. The name is familiar enough to people even if they don't know where from...

How reliably would you say you can get the day seats by waiting until they appear online? I've got an eye on a Wednesday matinee a few weeks hence, and can't decide if I should buy a cheap seat now (which may get upgraded) or hold on for the day seats (or at least seeing if the upper levels have their prices slashed). Getting up and queuing isn't really an option here, but the system appears to be fairly game-able so I may as well give that a go...

Thursday matinees/evenings seem to come up online the most, I have noticed, if those times are free for you.

Don't forget it is exam time, Baemax, and also a bit of a "post bad news slump" at the moment. In a few weeks, the fangirls will be out of prison for the summer and you could find day seats go a bit quicker than at the moment. I've just had a vision of stampeding uniformed schoolgirls descending from the tube...

Fan-ladies-and-gentlemen-of-a-certain-age, maybe. When I went, and admittedly it was a Wednesday matinee, I was possibly the youngest in the audience. The most enthusiastic member of the audience was a chap on the front row who won't be seeing 60 again. There he was, singing along to every song, and giving a solo standing ovation. Various members of the cast even gave him a wave at the finale.

Even getting there at 8:00 thinking I'd be getting seats meant I missed out because they all seem to buy two and the entire row. That said, other people have not encountered them. But my gosh they do annoy me when I have had to share the front row. You always hear, 'Charlie told me....', 'Devon messaged me to say.....' - it seems like Wicked.... They have even coordinated cheers/standing ovations/wave to the cast at curtain call/sing along and dance excessively at finale to get noticed by the cast (and in turn annoy the audience behind). Noticed on twitter they even all went to the stagedoor once with banjos and made a big deal about it being one of the groups 'last show' - all dressed up and OTT emotions - you'd think they were in the cast. I mean there is no reason not saying you enjoy a show, but there are limits and I thought the excess was just Wicked.

Just booked spontaneously to see this again tonight - intrigued to see how it stacks up without Mr Stemp. Picked up Row A in the stalls for £12.50

Far too excitable and clearly regulars One girl had the group she goes with FaceTime the cast at stage door so she could presumably see them 'personally'. Something I've never heard of before, and something I would expect to read in the Wicked thread.

Have they sensibly decided to abandon the new, derided artwork for this show? They seem to have reverted to the original graphic and logo.

Oh good lord. I hope they behave during the show else there will be trouble! How was it the other day? You know what, behaviour was generally impeccable. A little chatter behind me but no crazy fangirls in sight. The two next to me were discussing understudies in the interval (we had five on in total I think), but I don't have any problem with that of course not!

Does anyone know if any other understudies other than Sam were on tonight? Thanks.

Looks like Charlie is only doing seven shows a week now for the rest of the run - this hasn't always been the case has it?

Quick question: if I book balcony seats via TodayTix, what are the chances of being upgraded to somewhere lower? I was hoping to get the good half price deals they were doing on TT but they seem to have disappeared now, and I seem to remember that the balcony and sometimes even grand circle are closed due to low sales?

It does still happen, but it's not guaranteed. If you have some flexibility, obsessively watching the Delfont Mackintosh website can help you work it out. Don't leave it too long though, I suspect the last performances will be reasonably packed.

We considered this but glad we didn't as all levels were open at today's matinee.

Not sure if it was mentioned already, but both the matinee and evening performances on Thursday 24th August on the Delfont Mackinstoh website say that the show will be filmed.
