Bet Baz lets something slip tonight. It's the sort of thing he does.

Looking forward to the usual pattern of them announcing the season then making it impossible to read details as they immediately open members' booking and put a queue around the entire website

The tweet said "you won't want to miss this" (!) so there might be a corker or two in there somewhere to mark David Lan's departure.

Assume they will also tweet the season info, so anyone who isn't a member can read those and ignore the website as it crashes and burns....

Some new stuff on website already but nothing that particularly floats my boat, I must say.

It's just gone 10am, the website is currently accessible if you want to get the jump on the Twitter announcement and the inevitable website shutdown. I actually don't fancy much of it, which makes me feel a little bad considering the theme, but is an almighty relief after spending all my money with the National and Royal Court already this week.

Hmmm, looks a bit hit and miss for me although 'Fun House' will be a certainty and 'The Inheritance' looks good of course. I do loves me the plays about the gays.

Note that if you book for The Inheritance as a 2-play day it only counts as one play for the season saver...

Will definitely be booking to see The Brothers Size. Saw it when it was originally revived at the Young Vic in 2008 (after its 2007 debut), and it has been one of my theatrical highlights of the last ten years. Bijan Sheibani directed it originally, and he's returning to bring it into the main house. Highly recommended.

Random thought: could Stephen Daldry be the new AD for the Young Vic? The fact that he has two coming productions when David Lan will be leaving might hint at that. Or I may be imagining things...

Perhaps, at the time of the joint NT application, Stephen Daldry pencilled a diary window to direct some stage productions, and hence is available now to direct these Young Vic shows?
Coincidentally, The Jungle is co-produced by the NT.

I booked £10 tickets for Fun Home and The Brothers Size and £20 for a two parter day for The Inheritance. It is so far in advance though......But the Young Vic is generally worth a punt.
