Most of these fans seem to be about my age - so mid-teens. I'm surprised that their parents let them stay out on the mean streets of London at night to get tickets. Mine certainly wouldn't.

They'll be saying they are staying at a friend's house then running off to London with their parents being none the wiser. I did the same when I was 15, but instead of theatre it was going to a nightclub with a fake ID. |

Yes in fairness there's worse things- and less safe things- teens could be doing than camping out in front of the Haymarket, which is a pretty safe area to be hanging around in at that time of night/morning.
I mean still utterly batsh*t crazy, but you know, fairly safe in the scheme of things.

I know right, obviously the true fans were queuing at 19:31. It's almost inspiring, the level of commitment people have to stuff like this. If we can just nudge the enthusiasm towards international politics or the environment they might just be the saviours of us all... Nah, I think trashy musicals about murders disguised as suicides is a far healthier pastime. 😂 |

Most of these fans seem to be about my age - so mid-teens The ones whose Twitter pages I've seen are a lot older than that, at least 19/20 or slightly older. A lot of them seem pretty odd really, only a few years younger than me, but acting and talking in a way I'd outgrown when I was about 11... Anyway, I'll be there for the last performance (my 6th time this week) and I'm hoping those girls lay off the cringeworthy "surprises" 😱 |

Off to the final show tonight. Seen it twice before (once at TOP, once at Haymarket) but it’s not a show I’m crazy about, still looking forward to it though. Hoping the fans don’t ruin it with whatever surprise they’re planning, I definitely don’t want another Wicked glowstick situation.

Thank god we’re finally at the end of all of this nonsense.
Although, this show did manage to keep all the people who have no business going to the theatre/act like they have no business going to the theatre in one place, so they’re going to be let loose on the world again, which is always a worry!!!

It's an "entrance musical" for many. As Wicked is.
They'll go off and follow the cast members to whatever they do next.
I know many have booked trips to Sheffield to see Rebecca Lock in Kiss Me Kate, for example.

Well that was epic. Whoops on first entrances and end of songs but other than that a really respectful audience.
Do the cast usually hurl scrunchies into the audience at the end? I got hit by a barrage, Carrie has an arm on her.
Good samaritan I am I chucked a load back further to those who missed out

Love that they're throwing scrunchies back at the audience 😂 secretly it’s their revenge for all the stuff that’s been thrown at them (literally and metaphorically) by fans during the run. Go on Carrie, get those day-seating b*tches in Row A right in the eye!
