Considering that Half A Sixpence is starting to do well.
These are 2 musicals that are absent on my theatre spreadsheet, so would love to fill in the blanks.
So C'mon we need both of these revived soon?

Me and My Girl was supposed to transfer after the Yorkshire production a few Christmases ago - but that never happened.
There is still a restriction on amateur groups doing it within 60 miles of London (or some such arbitrary limit) - so I guess a producer is hanging on to the rights just in case

Okay great to know.
I missed that Sheffield Crucible production, not surprising it had aims to transfer as their Xmas offering is always sensational. Recalling I didn't go and see it, as I gambled it would've transferred but didn't. Big mistake, lesson learned.
Also saw a cracking My Fair Lady that should've made the trip south, but didn't.

I love Me And My Girl and am amazed it hasnt been revived. I saw the 80's production many times and it always had great replacement casts during its long run. Gary Wilmott, Karl Howman, Brian Conley, Jessica Martin, Joanna Riding in her West End debut.
It needs a very likeable leading man to carry the show. I have no idea who could open the show now.

I can't really imagine the West End with both Half a Sixpence AND Me and My Girl in at the same time (don't mind being proven wrong though), but it would be great to see it revived. While reading the above posts, it made me think that the West Yorkshire Playhouse has yet to announce their Christmas show, so maybe it could be done there seeing as it's been 7 years after the Sheffield production? Follow it up with a tour like they did for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang?

Im amazed Me and My Girl hasnt been revived, it seems an ideal show for Chichester to do to then move to the savoy. there was some talk a few years ago about a damian lewis led revival but thankfully that never materialised.
Personally im hoping for a revival with Taron Egerton as Bill and Katherine Kelly as Lady Jacqueline. As for Sally im less sure, i wonder if Emma Williams could maybe pull it off and nab her a potential olivier finally.

I was sceptical about whether or not Emma Williams could pull off Annie (of "Get Your Gun" fame) but she did. Really well. It was nice to see her play a part a good distance from the usual roles she gets cast it. So I'm sure she could take on Sally.
Me and My Girl was the musical that got me into musicals, so I'd love to see it come back. It's the kind of thing the Union could do a nice job with too.

Great suggestions and recollections so far.
Great suggestion regarding Stop The World....... Would be excellent at Southwark or maybe the New Union.
Sometimes with revivals they can be great but ill timed, as the case with Me and My Girl, as it seems no theatre was available, but never the less, I would've expected it to go on tour, regional theatres would've snapped this one up as still very popular.
Great suggestions about the West Yorkshire Playhouse doing this, also Manchester Royal Exchange could do this one for their Xmas show.
