I do hope that someone in their IT team has had to answer some very difficult questions about why account holders can’t log on from the home page. Take my word, this change is ENTIRELY as a result of this forum. It’s still absolute sh*te as a website but that is one tiny step forward.

Account locked: Too many invalid login attempts.
I remember why I gave up before. Even after asking ATG for help I still get no further than this

Hi. I've just become an ATG Theatre Card member, and I'm confused by the ticket purchasing options. After signing in, when I click on the seat I want, there are four price options: Full price £45 Full price (ATG Theatre Card) £45 ATG Theatre Card (ATG Theatre Card) (Max 4) £40 Business Offer (ATG Theatre Card) £29.50
I think I understand the first three options, but what is the fourth 'Business Offer' option? Am I entitled to this price, or is it some kind of corporate offer that isn't relevant to me? Does anyone know what it means? Thanks.

If it’s showing up for you, you can have it. I’d suggest you grab one before however many they have allocated to the offer have all been sold.
It’s probably a promo of some sort, and an ATG numpty has not realised that what they called it when they set it up in the system is what customers will see.

Hi. I've just become an ATG Theatre Card member Sorry for your loss. Well the card has already paid for itself, saving about £50 on my first purchase of tickets for three of us. That's definitely a worthwhile saving. It is confusing that the seat selector is completely different (and worse) when you're signed in though, much clunkier and with the stage at the top of the diagram rather than the bottom. Why would they do that?

I also had aa problem logging in late last year. An e-mail to ATG went unanswered.
I wrote again earlier this year, and after some to-ing and fro-ing (resetting my password, then someone else unasked re-resetting it, then someone re-re-resetting it) my account does work.
Bur when I've done some window-shopping I've not seen any Members reduced tickets, so I haven't booked.
But at least I get my money back on the membership by the discount I get at their bars - over £12 on one visit to the Piccadilly bar. Hic!

Has anyone here tried to cancel a booking with ATG following a positive lateral flow test and managed to get a refund? All I'm getting offered by them is a credit voucher or alternative date (which wouldn't be suitable as it's a touring show only here for a week)

I saw hout and a half late at Richmond today and bagged one of those cardholder day tickets for £13 and got given row G, dead centre.
A couple of those and the card pays for itself.

As I'd never heard of ATG day tickets until you mentioned them some time ago, Phantom of London, I asked last time I was at the New Victoria in Woking (also an ATG venue) recently, but they said they didn't do day tickets and these might be specific to a certain venue. Their only concession would be not charging a booking fee for those buying in person but that's standard across the brand, I think, and no use to anyone who couldn't risk travelling without having booked.

You *could* attend (despite it being silly to do so) so ATG will use that as the decider. You’ll get nothing back from them on goodwill, we know that.

Yes, according to the message I got yesterday the fact they are offering credit or alternative date is what they consider goodwill. Ah well, it's not like I won't use the credit, there's loads coming up in Manchester I want to see.

I have had the same thing at the New Wimbledon Theatre, however the Richmond Theatre always oblige for plays that are not selling well and that is most. It is strange when it is down to the venue, I would have thought it would be across the board. The day ticket can only be purchased an hour before curtain. A couple of these discounts and savings on booking fee and the card pays for itself.

It does seem to be up to the venue, unfortunately. I’ve had some really good deals for the Opera House in Manchester, like The Pride for £10 and & Juliet for £12, both really good front stalls seats.
But they rarely ever seem to discount at the Liverpool Empire, which is far easier (and cheaper) for me to get to. They do have seats that are £13(ish?) but are at the back of the circle in that huge barn of a building. The only time I sat up there the seat was so cramped that I was only able to sit down by wedging my knee into the tiny space where the two seats in front meet, and if I wasn’t sat next to a kid then I wouldn’t have even been able to do that. Awful experience, wish I hadn’t bothered.

I've also noticed Price Promise (£13) seats for Richmond and Woking but in both cases, in such awful, distant locations that I'd prefer to pay slightly more for a better view. But I could find none for Brighton, which I routinely check before booking for a touring production and what they all have in common is that prices seem very high for venues which are generally cramped and old-fashioned. I'd always opt for Woking over the others if possible as that is so much more comfortable, accessible and spacious but it puzzles me that ATG seems to take no account of the fact that some people have a choice of location and may well shun the less congenial but equally (or even more) expensive theatres. Plus, given the prices generally, I can only conclude that most people don't pay these but use deals, discounts, multi-buys, etc.

I don’t understand why this advantage is down to venue, ultimately doesn’t matter how cheap the ticket is, you are still a valid customer. I can understand if this was down to the producer.
I wonder if the Brighton theatre does day ticket? Worst case is look at the seating map and see if it is selling, go down there and ask for a “day ticket please” and if they don’t then bite the bullet, which in my case would be buying a cheap one at the back and then I might have a look at the theatre architecture just before the curtain, especially down the front for a really good view.

Their website really is atrocious. I have spent over half an hour trying to find basic information about my account and bookings and still none the wiser. It's quite telling that at the bottom of each question there's an option for feedback on whether it was helpful and all of them have poor feedback. One page has "667 out of 17,937 found this helpful"

To find my account/bookings, I always resort to googling 'atg sign in' which suggests this page – secure.atgtickets.com/online/login.aspOnce you log in, if you scroll to the bottom you should see 'Manage Account' in the footer and you can find your bookings in there, although even this bit is awful as well. There are just a list of order numbers and the dates you booked, you have to go digging for the show name.

It really would be good if ATG revamped their website. Just somewhere you could see all their West End shows in one place, nicely set out.
