Maybe they can let the original TV movie out of limbo at the same time? Yes copies are around but it has never been officially released and it is of historic importance in the gestation of the show.

Details Steven details!!!! lol It's been years since I watched it, and it's buried in a cupboard on VHS somewhere. But by the wonders of modern technology, it's also available on YouTube:

OMG it's going to be a CARTOON!! I can't stop laughing! OMG there's another thread on this forum where lots of people think the animated version of Beauty and the Beast is better than the live version. And that's a "cartoon" too! Hilarious! 🙄

The first animated Best Picture nominee... yeah it's rubbish. Nowhere near as good as Emma Watson straining gamely wihile Luke Evans camply gurns away in the background. That is way betterer! 😱

Animation isn't a genre, it's a medium, and a lot of people have done a lot of very classy films with it over the years for a wide variety of audiences. There's absolutely nothing wrong with something being announced as an animated movie rather than a live action one, wait and see if it's sh*t before deciding whether it's worth laughing about.

^I'm getting a blank square. Ah, as I suspected. Well it was a sarcastic rolled eyes emoji - there's nothing wrong with animation and I think it would suit Joseph perfectly.

Animation isn't a genre, it's a medium, and a lot of people have done a lot of very classy films with it over the years for a wide variety of audiences. It infuriates me that so many people treat animation as if it's defined by the Saturday morning cartoons they remember from when they were children. There is no film you can make with live action that can't be made with animation. (At one time I'd have added "...except porn", but now I know better.) It's no more a genre than "widescreen" is a genre.

But by the wonders of modern technology, it's also available on YouTube: Blimey, that's...interesting! The Narrator couldn't look any more 70s if he tried! Also, ALW is one on the musicians, according to the end credits. I did wonder if he was the pianist, and it seems as if he was.
