Which soap star is playing Sally this time?

Have never managed to see this on stage, so this will be great!
I'd rather they cast someone well known for Emcee then an MT face for Sally (like they did with Will Young and Siobhan Dillon)

Cabaret would be brilliant in the Delfont Rooms, Menier or Southwark but it would be bloody brilliant at Wiltons Music Hall

Kenwright-produced, opening in Wimbledon. Whenever someone mentions something is Kenwright-produced, I can't help but feel the mood in the room drop slightly.

There's less of an appetite for cheaply produced tours featuring Jenny Seagrove than Mr Kenwright seems to believe. Though that said, Cabaret produced on the cheap would be pretty appropriate at least.

The Emcee is one of my dream roles, so if they can't find the right person, I promise I'll be ready by the time it starts.

Cabaret would be brilliant in the Delfont Rooms, Menier or Southwark but it would be bloody brilliant at Wiltons Music Hall A saw a student production of it in Wiltons a few years ago and it was indeed brilliant, including a really effective final moment which I've never seen done in any other production (and I've seen a few).

Do tell...! After 'Auf Wiedesehen, a bientot...' there was a drumbeat and giant red Nazi flags fell down all the walls from the balconies, literally everywhere you looked. It lasted only a couple of seconds before a blackout but was absolutely breathtaking.

I'm glad this is touring! Will this still be Rufus Norris' production? He doesn't seem to be directing anything at the National until Macbeth next year.
It would be great if Sam Mendes' version on Broadway transferred back to London with Alan Cumming and Emma Stone, although I doubt Stone would do it now that she's won an Oscar for La La Land Moonlight.

I saw this in 2009(ish?) in London. I believe Wayne Sleep was the Emcee? It was just okay, tbh quite dull at times, but I do recall that the finale was pretty chilling and effective. Never seen the Mendes version live. Would be great if it were to come back to London.

Kenwright-produced, opening in Wimbledon. Kenwright tours seem to commence at Wimbledon or Bromley, I guess he has a house near there, when he isn't on Merseyside.

I assume it wouldn't be able to transfer due to Kenwright having the rights to stage Cabaret in the United Kingdom.

Ahh, I played Kost in my first year of uni and I've loved this show ever since. Excited that it's touring again, and I'll definitely be catching it. Fingers crossed for a decent cast!
