Anyone seeing this one man musical with Jamie Muscato?
On at the Vaults, Waterloo this week.
Very interesting, and well performed.

I saw bits of this at the St. James Theatre in (I think) 2014 with Norman Bowman. Really liked it. I won't make it to the Vaults this week but I can imagine Jamie Muscato is very good in this show.

I'm going to see it this weekend, Steffi your right (The one-act show is penned by Tim Gilvin and was the winning show of the S and S award in 2014)

I thought it was a beautiful piece of theatre, performed wonderfully by Jamie Muscato - I really hope there is life for it after Vault Festival

Noticed this is being staged in a longer run next year at the Southwark Playhouse. I was away when it was done at Vaults but was sad to miss it so have booked for this run.

Got an email from the Southwark Playhouse saying the run of this show has been cancelled so I'm getting a refund. Hadn't heard anything else about it since it went on sale, so maybe poor ticket sales?

Maybe I wasn't the only one waiting to see who they cast! I wonder if this was dropped because the Fats Domino thing came along, or whether it just didn't come together.

If it was pulled for ticket sales reasons, I do think it was always going to be tricky to sell a one-man show before announcing who that man was going to be, and surely you would anticipate sales picking up once that announcement was made, so maybe things just didn’t come together for this one.
A real shame, as it was wonderful at the Vault Festival with Jamie Muscato at the helm, and it deserves to have more people see it.
