It'll be interesting to see if Karen does a chunk to give Marisha time off, and if they will alternate based on extended periods rather than specified performances. I have an alternate day booked in May, I'm hoping to get Marisha. Contemplating a Wednesday afternoon too, which Amber has been skipping lately. I don't mind seeing Amber again, but would rather see an understudy or alternate as Effie or Deena.

Interesting on the West End Big Busk poster, she is credited as from Dreamgirls considering she has never been on and has been seemingly pulled from teh production.

Yikes. All those new growls she is adding. She already starting to sound like a Jennifer Holiday parody.

Had this Ruth person ever been on? There are many, many pages in this thread on this topic already. But the answer is no.

She's removed the DG artwork from her profile, but still has "alternate effie" in her bio.

Apparently not happy that a contestant on The Voice sang Get Here last week (I didn't see it) which was Ruth's audition song.
Hmmm

Another 2017 award nominee in the cast, Asmeret Ghebremichael just got nominated for a Lucille Lortel Award for her Off-Broadway performance in Sweet Charity with Sutton Foster! Full nominees in the International Thread.

Oh congrats to her! She is faaaaaaaaaabulous as Lorrell! Such a lil sasspot. Her Ain't No Party was a particular highlight the last time I saw the show.

I've noticed some of the 'Good Availability' dates over the next few weeks on ATG are offering some seats in the Dress Circle for £20, notably variations on seats 1-4 in rows G-N, with one date offering most of the high-end numbers of Row M for £20, too. Some dates also offer the very back of the stalls for £20, mostly rows V & W, but row S on one occasion I think. On some dates, the upper circle has been totally reduced to £20 everywhere, other dates just rows A & B are £20. Thank you, dynamic pricing!
My question goes to, who else, @theatremonkey - there are better seats to be had than those I mention above, but for £20, are they a no brainer? And for all the same price, which would you rate? Thanks very much!

Dynamic pricing works in the theatregoer's favour sometimes I sat back row of the Dress just to the side and the legroom was terrible, but a lovely view!

Dropped my parents off at the theatre to see this earlier - I got them tickets for Christmas. Absolutely kicking myself that I didn't get myself one at the time now!

One of my favourite things about the red carpet last night was when the Dreamgirls cast were chatting onstage, Marisha was speaking on behalf of the group and you just saw Karen behind her giving the occasional shady glance.
