Karen was on when I saw the matinee on Saturday. Don't know whether Amber was off ill or whether only some of her holiday was cancelled though. |

Was my first time seeing Dreamgirls and I was blown away by her voice. Never before have I felt the need to give three standing ovations during one show before (as did majority of the audience) |

Marisha has just tweeted that she's on tonight as Effie straight from holiday.... I don't like the way marisha comes across on twitter. She's very self promoting and She retweets everything that mentions her. She's the only main Effie I've not seen and from the videos I've seen it looks like she goes over the top with the screeching but want to see her myself to judge. She doesn't come across as a team player. In it for herself. |

As an actress you are a salesperson of sorts and she's doing it in good fun. She's retweeting articles and mentions because the authors like that. I think we should give her the benefit of the doubt. As Amber is never on, she is saving the day of sorts...

Just an FYI, the front row lottery on TodayTix has gone from £15 to £20. Could've sworn it was £15 when I entered yesterday but I am relatively new to TodayTix so is this something they do when demand is high or it's the 'holidays' or is this now a permanent change do we reckon?

I would imagine it's permanent, and I'm not surprised to be honest. Most Rush/Lottery seem to be around the £20 mark, which I think is still a reasonable price! I'm not sure when the change happen, but I noticed that it was £20 when I entered yesterday. |

The lottery was still £15 on Saturday, so it must have gone up beginning of this week then. I'm equally not surprised it's gone up at all, was expecting this to happen at some point.
