This is so exciting - the Sovremennik Theatre produces some of the most stunning work. I've booked for all three shows. I caught there work in Moscow a few years ago and it was some of the most heartfelt real and raw work I had ever seen. Don't knock it until you haven't seen it. "...and Vladimir Putin supplements my pension." That is later on in the year, when he is going to star at this theatre in Young Frankenstein. Look forward to his version of 'Putin On The Ritz'.

What has Putin got to do with the Sovremennik? It's like bringing up Trump with a Broadway transfer. I think it's a great thing the theatre isn't dark plus it's only one for a very very short run.

Great to see it's not going dark, this season of plays in Russian has zero appeal for me personally (studied 'Three Sisters' in sixth form and have seen enough productions of it to last a lifetime!) but interesting all the same.

So is this the show going in before Annie then? On Baz's twitter someone has asked about Annie - Piccadilly - Michael Ball - Miranda Hart and his response is "I'll tell all later" Please God let this be only a rumour 😔

Miranda Hart should be fun, can she act or sing is entirely a different question!

Just what the West End needs, another revival (said sarcastically) I predict this will absolutely nose dive.

Please drop your alternative facts for just a moment. The link is to Putin's Presidential website. It is a quoted extract of his message of Congratulations to Sovremennik Theatre.

I'm assuming Annie is May until January which gives them time to find a replacement for 2018.

So is this dark until May with the Russia company? And is Annie the great show with the great leading female, people said is rumoured for the Picc a few months back?
