Not the London production, and perhaps this is already common knowledge, but Tracie Bennett mentioned she's been approached to be in an upcoming Broadway production of Company. She mentioned it in passing whilst on hosting duties at the Stephen Sondheim Student Performer of the Year competition last Sunday.passing round a tray of sausage rolls?

I was a gentleman and took two, to save her coming back.

Hoping for a full cast announcement soon. Wonder if there will be any type of rush/lottery on Today Tix. Debating whether to hold out booking or not. Sondheim doesn’t really sell tickets outside of the Donmar and MCF. I suspect lots of special offers will float around for this

Very tempted by £18 tickets for this on Today Tix but they are at the very last couple of rows of the balcony. I may hold off for a bit longer. I'd guess there will be offers ahoy for this one. Other than Patti, it doesn't sound particularly exciting so far. Can't see it pulling in the crowds in droves.

Oooh how smashing. And I thought it was hot outside right now. The Gielgud is going to be like a sauna with all that deliciousness AND La LuPone!
Rosalie who?

Does this mean we get to see Matthew Seadon-Young dance Tick Tock scantily clad...?

I’m hoping Tick Tock is going to be in it. I much prefer it to the lengthy Florida-baby oil gag

The website for this is very empty. According to cast and creatives section it’s stars La Craig and it’s its written by Uncle Steve and then bugger all. No whiff of Pattie, Sue P or who the set designer and orchestrator are

WAIT!!! Men?!?!? Okay, I'm going to have to admit it... I thought this was an ALL FEMALE cast!!!! I know, I know... I have absolutely no idea how that would have worked. I booked just to see Patti LuPone. Rosalie Craig was a bonus. (Mel Giedroyc was- and still is- an endurance test.) Matthew Seadon-Young eh? He could drive me crazy. Especially if he wears that Urinetown vest...
By the way, has anyone else received their tickets? Booked last September and still waiting for them to arrive...

There's an interview somewhere where either Marianne Elliott or Rosalie Craig refers to it, I think - I seem to remember it's supposed to be about Bobbi's biological clock in this production.
The lengthy Florida story involving baby oil is in the original and revised published script, and (unlike Tick Tock) is not a permissible cut in the revised (mid-1990s) version - that script is crawn from revivals at the Roundabout in New York and the Donmar in London; the Donmar cut 'Tick Tock', the Roundabout did not, and the Florida story was in both productions.

sf yet again I’m am in awe of your knowledge 😄 Edit: I really do hope Tick Tock is coming is coming back as normally it sounds like a piece that is stuck in the 1960’s but now it could sound as fresh as a daisy

Well, thank you.
One reason 'Tick Tock' is a permissible cut in the revised script, I suspect, is that it isn't actually by Stephen Sondheim. It's dance music by David Shire based on (but expanded from) Sondheim's musical themes from elsewhere in the show's score.

For those interested rows B and C stalls have been made available for booking on the Delfont Mackintosh Theatre website. I have just booked an extra ticket for one of the first previews.

I am sorely tempted to book two stalls seats in Row D on a Thursday night in November but I just can't quite bring myself to fork out £160 at the minute. I musn't be the only one because there is still plenty of availability.
