We all know what happened to the last musical which had 6 weeks of previews I'll bite... which one? I think it'll most likely be another reference to Bend it like Beckham, though I could be wrong of course! |

Spider-man was in preview for months and months! Then back in preview for version 2!
This show is a whole different league. I think the creators would have liked an out-of-town tryout, but given the programming, it has to have a long preview period instead.

I've never been to the Old Vic..Does anyone know if this is one of those tickets all sold out to members before it hits public sales? I'm mainly interested in early July performances or late September performances.

In the Stalls, choosing between the very outer rowJ seats, or row P28-29, would you prefer one above the other?

Yes, the membership and £67,50 seats are a bit of a splurge here too, so we may as well go for the best possible option.

I just booked my ticket using the lowest level "Friends" priority. There was almost the entire house to chose from, so I doubt very much there will be a shortage of tickets when public booking opens. Usual "Old Vic" price breaks too, bit more expensive with top at £67.50, premium £90, but at least there are some really good non-premium stalls going. The usual £21 and £16 stalls and dress circle stuff is all there as well. Re Old Vic membership. I joined and they sent me a card but how do you get to know about priority periods? I haven't had one email from them yet. Thanks. |

Just received an email to say as I'm on the mailing list I can book with priority booking. Check those inboxes if you're signed up too! I've just booked for September.

Yep, was going to post this info as well: "As a previous Old Vic booker we're giving you access to priority booking from Thursday 24 March at 12 noon."
Dang, that could have saved me the £35 membership fee…

Well this is outrageous! I've only missed maybe two shows since I started going to the Old Vic all those years ago, and no email for me! I might try logging in on the website anyway, see what happens...

Wow! Thanks for the heads-up on this. Phoned and booked for August. Apparently, it's people on their Mailing List who are receiving emails, not simply people who have previously booked at the Old Vic. To be on the Mailing List is free... I just did it on the phone and booked at the same time!

I tried to call and do this but it was a no go! On the mailing list now so she said unless I get a promotional code I'll have to wait for general sale. Fingers crossed I get an email so can book!!

Check your email address and that you've ticked all the "I would like to be kept up to date with:" boxes for the emails that you wish the Old Vic to send you. |

Whats everyones opinion on the restricted view pillar seat for this one? I've sat in one of the ones for Phantom before and it didn't bother me. Same sort of thing here?
