Presumably members only at this stage(sic)? When I got my tickets on tuesday it was members only. Not sure if thats still the case. Booking for priority members opened yesterday, with booking for higher tiers of membership open a couple of days earlier. Booking for advance members opens at 8.30am on May 9th. Public booking opens at 8.30am on May 18th. |

Id love to see Joanna Riding as Sally. She can belt and wouldnt require a key change to sing the higher parts of the role.

Id love to see Joanna Riding as Sally. She can belt and wouldnt require a key change to sing the higher parts of the role. Joanna Riding's more of a Phyllis, I think (am I having deja vu or was this suggested before?). Maria Friedman? She has a history with the National and Sondheim. Sarah Brightman as luxury casting?

Sally is demanding acting-wise, and watching Brightman's blank face for 2 hours would be a bore. But after having seen her in A Little Night Music, I think Joanna would be a sensational Phyllis |

I liked Maria Friedman very much when she sang Sally at the Palladium, though I didn't really get the sense of Sally's mental health issues, and I don't know how much of that was my lack of observation and how much was her performance. Still, wouldn't be opposed to her taking the role again, if she's even still performing.

She is mostly directing these days but just before Christmas did some intimate cabaret performances at Pizza Express in London which were lovely. |

Ms Friedman also did her cabaret show here in NYC in November 2017 at 54 Below...after directing "Merrily" in Boston. She would be a superb Sally.

I was looking out for that myself. From what I can find on the NT/Amex page, there doesn't appear to be (as there has been in the past), an earlier booking date for Amex cardholders. They seem to be offering reserved seating on certain shows for cardholders only. Happy to be corrected! |

On Twitter, they said the Amex booking date for the next block would be "around 15 May", which is not very specific or helpful (a quick search reveals they've been absolutely silent on the subject since April). They've always been fairly reticent about revealing the Amex date, but they're being positively cagey this time around.

Has anyone seen when the CD of FOLLIES will be released?? Will it only be available at NT...or will Amazon also have it?? Dress Circle says "coming soon"...but so is Christmas. Any help would be great. Thanks...

I was in the queue (1700 + !!) for about 15 minutes and then got through. The site worked fine for me. Tried several dates and got a couple of oldies tickets for £39, next to the top price £58 seats. We've sat in the cheap few rows before. Not sure we'd manage now, what with dodgy backs and stuff!! |

Completely forgot about the entry pass tickets this morning! Luckily I managed to get some for March- I cannot believe how far in advance I’ve booked this!!!! I will end up changing nearer the time I imagine as something will more than likely come up; last time follies was here I changed my tickets 3 times and still never got round to catching it!
