Yeh to be fair when i saw Amy Ross nothing screamed ELPHABA! ! Which is ironic because most Elphaba's spend their time screaming through Defying Gravity I believe the correct term is 'Elphabae' |

The tour doesn't start til January.
The tour will sell tickets on the name of the show alone. It's selling ok (I assume?) and no casting news has come out so far.
Only a very small percentage of touring audiences will know who this woman is. Will announcing it sell more tickets than would be sold anyway? I doubt it.
Can't see an official announcement coming soon, unless they have an ace up their sleeve.

We got tickets for Birmingham in April, I didn't book them myself but the person who did said a lot of the seats were gone. I reckon this has to do with it being half term as well though. |

I've just seen a suggestion too that Helen Woolf could be featuring in this, possibly Glinda or Nessa/Glinda Standby.
Apparently Aaron Sidwell is on with Lorraine on Friday so I expect we might hear this week and he'll announce it there, possibly followed by the full cast.

Not the most inspired casting I've ever seen in my life but he's reasonably attractive and I heard great things about him from Cool Rider and Loserville.
I do enjoy the bad boy vibe he gives off. I hope he plays on that instead of the usual vanilla Fiyero we get.
