They must be pretty legendary in their own right as this has SOLD OUT at the canvanus Chichester theatre (bearing in mind we got tickets for Gypsy on the day!)

Cavernous, I think you mean, and so it has! That's pretty impressive but then this is a VERY Chichester play and production I think. Be interesting to see what happens when this comes into town.

Ooh Ive forgotten how patronising and snobbish Vera is. At least Amanda Holden is giving a good performance as this caricature
Tamzin Outhwaite is so endearing as Mavis

Holden is playing Vera? With all the publicity saying she was leading I assumed she was playing Mavis. Then again my knowledge is purely based on the film so possibly Mavis isn't the clear lead character in the play.
I wish I'd checked that earlier, Holden as Vera isn't a terrible idea.

Has Angela Griffin withdrawn from the show?! Natalie Casey has been announced but they haven't said which character she is playing however when they say "she will star alongside......" Angela isn't there and she has been removed from the poster?! I love Angela and she would've been a main reason for me to see the show?!  |

Angela Griffin disappeared from the publicity photos a while ago but the announcement of Natalie's casting is the first proper acknowledgement that she's no longer involved with the show. Natalie is a great comic actress, better than Angela I would say in that regard, so I'm sure she'll do a fabulous job as her replacement.

The producers don't need to tell anything if they don't want to and people drop out of shows so this isn't a new thing But the show wasn't previously advertised with Angela on the poster etc and she was originally confirmed to be transferring to London too so it does seem strange how she isn't involved anymore. Usually they would make a press press release if someone withdraws from a production, especially if they are a celebrity in the show. |

I didn't really know this show was happening until I saw a massive poster at The Vaudeville yesterday. I was excited to see Angela Griffin on it, so now I'm disappointed she won't be in it - not a fan of NatCass particularly.
Are the other people on the poster (apart from the 'names') going to be in the show or are the just random models asked to pose for it.

Sorry if this has been said but Anglea has now taken out of her bio that she is in the show. I doubt the producers would've dropped her?
