Watched this again the other night and it is brilliant to see actor’s facial nuances,set detail etc up close.Obvs a lot of musicals don’t want a DVD release as it may affect ticket sales,but it is great when you get the actual full show captured for posterity (unlike a naff concert version).

I totally agree but I think they shot it too much like a film lol!

Agree that it's great to see so much close up emotion, but there were times I found myself wanting a wider view of the stage and the action. It felt too tightly shot at times. In the theatre you got the wide all the time, on the DVD you get the close up all the time, no happy medium.
