I still have very fond memories of the Henshall production at the Savoy years ago. It is a glorious score.

I too saw a production of this many yeas ago with Ruthie Henshall and John Gordon-Sinclair at The Savoy. I still have the brochure.

Saw this on Broadway this year with Laura Benanti, Jane Krakowski, Zachary Levi and Gavin Creel - totally delightful. Set was absolutely exquisite, as was the live band. Found the second half a but disjointed but am looking forward to this production and its casting, especially Ilona.

Half heard David Babani talking about this to someone in the bar at the Menier months ago but wasn't sure enough about what I'd heard to speculate on the other thread! Will definitely be booking  |

I do hope it gets like a limited run in the West End but it's nice they are doing it at the menier over Christmas!!
So all that about Hedwig going there wasn't even true?

Another one who saw it at The Savoy with Ruthie Henshall and John Gordon Sinclair. Lovely! And I very much like the casting of Scarlett Strallen. I was at the Oliviers in concert too and she did a lovely job of Vanilla Ice Cream.

To be fair every musical is rumoured to be staged at MCF
I'm going to start ones for Piazza, Visit, Pal Joey and Follies in the hope they come true
