Steal of the year, seat A5 stalls. Only available at the box office, it's £20 a part. Slightly restricted view but honestly, go and get this seat if you can! I'd say you can see 99% of the show Ooh now this is interesting...how did you come across this? And do you have an inkling at all on what the chances of the seat being randomly available would be, considering you seem to need to know to ask for it at the Box Office I presume?? Thanks for letting us know! Desperate to see it again! When my sister was over for her birthday in December, I managed to get us three seats in the sides of Row A about a week in advance - as I was seeing the show that day and had decided to try my hand at asking about tickets. We got the first seat in row A (which I sat on), and the last two at the other end, which my mum and sister took. For it being restricted viewing, you only miss the very back of the staff (however it does spoil some of the magic, as I was able to see off to the side of the stage at several times and see what was going on), but it's definitely a good seat if you can stag them. |

I just want to say thank you to all on this thread! I went yesterday to the box office around 10am. Went in and they offered me a ticket for 140 pounds. I turned it down saying if I could wait for cheaper tickets. They said I could wait outside and they'd let me know if anything became available. Around 12:30 they came outside and offered me tickets for both parts for 40 pounds! Seats were incredible too...I sat in stalls F21. I was also the first person in line. A few minutes after another guy showed up. We both got tickets right next to each other. Nobody else was in line. Just want to say thank you,
Otherwise I would never have gotten this incredible opportunity.

I turned it down saying if I could wait for cheaper tickets. They said I could wait outside and they'd let me know if anything became available. I'm not sure, but the lady at the desk did tell us we were incredibly lucky. The place looked packed, but I couldn't tell you if it was at full capacity.

My sister and I were at the show on Saturday, and I counted 40 empty seats in the balcony alone - at least - now there were latecomers, so we'll call it twenty. We had 8 empty seats just in the rows around us - and we were at the side of the balcony. |

Can anybody give me tips on how to get tickets? 1) Keep hitting the official website. 2) Get in the Returns Line. 3) Friday Forty every Friday at 1pm. Dig back for the fuller details. I had the cheap A5 seat in April, but Sod's Law said that I had to be ill with asthma that wasn't diagnosed, and therefore not treated properly, from early December 2016, to just before I went! (It's been a bloody long hard winter!) I've been checking the website regularly, and got lucky yesterday afternoon. Stalls seat G5 for Sunday 23/7. £70 for each play, but I don't care, after seeing the premium tickets (£250?!) time and again over the last few months. This time I will be well enough to really enjoy it! |

I just found this thread after Googling the Friday Forty. I entered it but didn't get picked. I saw a few people post that sometimes tickets become available so I decided to have a look. To my absolute shock there was two tickets available for both parts in September. Row G in the Stalls at £70 each per person. I managed to grab them!!! I'm so excited I might cry.

I'm going to be in London the first week of September, and I desperately want to see this play. I will try the Friday Forty the week before, and I've been checking the website every couple of days, but haven't seen anything pop up for September. I was actually wanting to go on a Wednesday, so I was hoping that would help with availability.
Also, is there a way when looking for tickets on the website to view it by what seats are available, or do you have to pick the section, and see what seats it assigns you?

Brittany You're probably too early to get anything for September on the website unless it's a random return - it's only a couple of weeks before that the premiums get put online. You pick the section and take what it gives you, but it doesn't stop you putting multiple tickets/pairs in your basket within the booking time if they're available, then you can just keep the one you prefer and delete the rest. |

Following up from my previous post - I panic bought two tickets and have only just realised I have no one to go with. My fiancé couldn't give a monkeys about Harry Potter, my best friend can't get time off work and the rest of my friends have either seen it or have no interest in seeing it. Would anyone like to join me? The Seat is in G4 in the Stalls and the date is September 27th with Part One at 14:30 and Part Two at 19:30. The ticket is £140 and I can offer great conversation, wonderful company and a Scottish accent that is actually understandable.
Plus I was in a Harry Potter movie so you'd be sharing a show with an official Hogwarts student!

Hi everyone! Just sitting behind the "queue for returns" signs reading through this forum and thought I'd let you know about my experiences these past few days. I've seen the show already (found a return ticket online about a week before the show! Highly recommend checking back regularly in the weeks leading up.)
Trying to get tickets for a double show Sunday (July 16)
On Saturday I managed to get two returns to the Sunday performance £30 each (15 per performance). Just by refreshing the nimax website every 20 minutes from about 10am to 1pm. I also saw some (£200 -£100 each show) in this time too.
Sunday morning I am first in line arriving at 7:30am - 2nd arrives about 8:30 so I jumped the gun. i am trying to get a better ticket than my balcony ones as it's my mothers first time seeing the show so she deserves better than the arse end of the balcony.
So far about 7 x £250 (125 each show) have come back and some people in the line have taken them. Here's hoping some gets free tickets to Wimbledon final and therefore needs to return their seats for today!
Anyway
Tldr
Website the day before is great. If you want to be first in returns i would say 7:30 is safe.
The week before keep checking the website. Tickets do do do come back.

The lovely man in the box office said that after 4pm the day before they don't get a lot of tickets back and are only a maybe to putting them back up that day. Sometimes they will give them to returns queue in the morning.
