Yes, I thought this about Friday Forty not working last week danielwhit and then person mysteriously being offered one of the usual tickets! But was not impressed they had to pay £90 as usually they are £40 for both parts! I did tweet to ask what happened when Friday Forty didn't work and ask if they had any tickets but they failed to reply!

Yes, I paid 90 for Both parts, and it was indeed a Bargain! What a view! That's amazing, did you have to negotiate or did he just offer them at £90? I'm shocked because Row AA is normally worth £130. Regarding Friday Forty, I know a few people on Twitter went to the box office last Friday after realising it crashed and they said every single Row AA seat was available, but for full price (£130). So I guess if it glitches again next time and you're willing to pay full price, the box office will have tickets. I also check Nimax a lot and Row BB for this Saturday came up for £140 a few days ago too so I guess if they don't sell them at the box office, they will put them online. It's a bit unfair, I think they should have just tweeted something saying it failed and just ran it again at a different time. |

I'm surprised there are so many tickets available for April on website. Is this a slow period? I'm hoping that this will continue and I will be able to get more convenient tickets in July and can return my Aug 2nd tickets. I will continue to check frequently and then possibly spend morning for day I really want in the returns line. But if worse comes to worse I still have my original tickets

I really think they need to change the price of the premium seats. £250 for weekend shows is a bit ridiculous. It should go back to £199 (or £190 like it was last year). |

Not quite returns but lots of seats popped up for Feb 2018 onwards! Seem to be pairs avaiilable when I looked at a few dates!  |

I couldn't find a clear answer about how the Friday Forty works, so I'll ask here - do I have to refresh the ticket page when the timer hits zero for the "magic" button to show up, or will it appear on the ticket page that I had already opened earlier? I really want to see the show when I'm in London next week, but sadly can't afford the premium tickets. Thanks!!!

As far as I remember, the button just appeared. Although I think in the past I have refreshed the page when it didn't appear automatically.

Most of them are great. Annabel as Delphi, James as Draco and Samuel as Scorpius are the true highlights. Wasn't a fan of the new Albus and Ginny though (compared to Sam and Poppy). |

Just realised that ticket I booked ages ago for matinee tomorrow which my 91 year old mum was going to use is in Grand Circle rather than Dress. Having read the reports of the stairs and lack of hand rail not prepared to let her risk it. Too late to cancel. What do you think the chances are of me being able to exchange for something more suitable if I turn up at the box office late tomorrow morning? Unfortunately I probably won't be able to get there for 10am.

I don't know about ticket chances, but if you're going to be there that much in advance, it would be worth asking a member of staff about accessibility. At the very least, perhaps they could help your mother to her seat before the doors open and the stampede begins? They'll have had less-mobile patrons before, they must have provision to help.

I would say very unlikely - the only situation in which they'll do that is if they've completely sold out including all of their returns, and even then it'll be conditional based on whether they can sell it. Certainly worth popping by and asking though. You may have more success selling it cheap to someone in the returns queue! |

I don't recall there not being a handrail. That said, it is worth talking to the theatre, they do try to help. Having sat in the very back row recently I can confirm there are handrails all the way up. Obviously it's a lot of stairs to get up there but if they could arrange early entry/usher help it could be feasible. So perhaps work talking to Box Office and seeing how they can help? stairs are nice and wide and each step itself not too steep so if given extra time/without the crowds your Mum might be ok? |

Thanks for all the comments. The rail goes all the way up main stairs. We discovered once up there it is the lack of rail down to row A that is the problem. Even I found steps down very bad as much deeper than normal steps and nothing to hang on to.
Staff very nice and they did offer to do heavily discounted upgrade to stalls but as already at top of mountain decided to give it a miss. For 2nd show we swapped so I squeezed into row A in grand and my mum had row T in stalls. Fortunately an aisle seat and people in front small enough for her to see around. As a seat I would recommend it. Excellent view and loads of leg room. The view from Row A in grand circle also really good. Only had to lean forward for couple of bits but I am 5ft 10inches . Mum who is probably 4'10" had to lean forward most of time. Had been worried might be too hot there today but air cooling system was excellent.

I thought it was great. New cast seemed to very at home with roles. My only criticism was the key character who emerges through the play - felt it came across as very amateurish the way role was played - a bit too pantomime for a baddy.

Steal of the year, seat A5 stalls. Only available at the box office, it's £20 a part. Slightly restricted view but honestly, go and get this seat if you can! I'd say you can see 99% of the show

And do you have an inkling at all on what the chances of the seat being randomly available would be, considering you seem to need to know to ask for it at the Box Office I presume?? I booked it in March.
You want to avoid D 2 but D3/E2/3 seemed only slightly restricted. A5 is great though. I'm gonna go in sometime this week and try and get it again for next year
