JKR has gone on record saying she hates musicals. So I don't think this will ever happen.

When I first heard they were doing a stage adaptation of Harry Potter I thought it would be a musical of Philosiphers stone. I couldn't put my head around how they would do it and get lots of children to be in it butI was completely wrong and it is a sequel play. I would love to see a full version of Harry Potter on stage at maybe the dominion as that is a large stage. Imagine in lin manual Mirranda did the music.
