Not sure where to put this, but as the recording of Lin Manuel Miranda’s new score comes out in 9 days it might be worth starting to get excited. On a less celebratory note, child 3 has asked for it on vinyl for Christmas…£90!!!!!! Of money!!!! Am I likely to get it cheaper in NYC anywhere?

A lot of the record stores in NYC have closed down in the last 20 years or so: one of the Barnes & Noble stores might have this but it might be a bit too niche for them, otherwise try one of the stores selling Broadway memorabilia?

If you can't find it in NYC and every other avenue fails, Lin's teerico.com site has it for $40 but once you include shipping and what you'll no doubt have to pay in customs/VAT it'd be closer to £65 all in. Still scandalous, but a *bit* better than £90.

Following that web address to LMM's merchandise store, interesting that the branding of the musical, CD and LP covers is the same Scarlet Red and Black as ALW's 'Sunset Blvd'. The W of the title 'Warriors' is like spray graffiti - though I doubt they took inspiratino from 'Bad Cinderella' ; )

Think I’ll just order it to my mates place in Brooklyn and get it off him when we’re there.

Barnes & Noble on 5th Avenue will probably have it; they have most current cast recordings and a decent selection of vinyl. Also thinking that the Drama Book Store will likely have it because of their connection with LMM.
