This seems an appropriate time to start a thread for this new musical from which - unusually - a studio cast album has already been recorded and released, even including a CD. No venue or date yet but projected for a London opening some time next year. It's a historical drama/musical based on the life and loves of Miss Rosie Boote, a theatre star of the Victorian era.
Lucy Thomas has a beautiful voice and is most definitely a rising star herself. Her concert on Tuesday 22 October at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane was only announced a few days ago and is selling fast. I'll be there!
There's a selection of songs from Rosie on You Tube sung by Lucy. I think they are excellent and look forward to seeing the show if and when it happens. Well worth a look and listen.

Thanks you Paul for setting this up and for your comments about Lucy’s voice which is the best I have heard in my 70 years. I hope you enjoyed the concert as much as I did. The presentation of the Rosie songs in a timeline was so helpful to fit the songs into the story and I can’t wait for the full production when that comes around, hopefully during 2025. do you think it would be ok to share this site and thread with the members of the Official Lucy Thomas Facebook Group? I am sure there will be a lot of interest from there. Best wishes, Brian

Anyone joining, reading or contributing to this forum has to accept that their favourite performers will at some point be criticised. When fans join purely to support their favourite performer it usually doesn’t go well simply because they get upset when someone else doesn’t share their opinion. It’s probably best if Lucy’s fan club remains on Facebook.

I agree with the admin comments. I was at the Lucy Thomas concert at Drury Lane. Primarily because I was aware of the music of Rosie. And it contains some lovely melodies for sure. Lucy Thomas could do very well as she has a beautiful voice. However, lovely though it is, I'm not sure it's unique and if I'm honest I've heard many equally lovely voices in shows in recent times. But she is very young and undoubtedly talented, so once her stagecraft is fine tuned, which will come with experience, then she has a good future for sure. And good luck to Rosie, the musical, which I'm sure could have a life, in the right hands.
