Have they added shows to the beginning of the run? I thought I had booked first preview for 11th June and checked back on this thread to see and yes I did. But the ATG website is showing performances from 5th June. That's really annoying as I wanted to have a bit of Quodas and tell everyone I am going to the first show. Now I'm not. Not happy. It seems they have. I did the same, brought Stalls B for £85 wanting first preview access and now they're charging £150 for the same seat 6 nights earlier. No doubt if I call to get the date changed they'll want to charge me £65 extra. Bit of a P-take Yes agree. I will stick with what I have got as for t want to pay more. Funny thing on the ATG website the front page still says from 11th June and it's only when you go into booking it gives earlier dates. I'm also row B stalls so we could even be sitting next to each other

I hope we get some news about additional casting soon, I presume it will be made up of British talent, or are more of the NY company coming over?

Planning on booking soon for this. Its been sometime since I last went to the Savoy Theatre and was wondering where would be the best place for a 6'1 slim bloke who enjoys the "closeup experience" to sit without having to look up a lot. I'm torn between row H/J which seem to be more highly recommended but row E is also appealing for being closer to the action and is priced high, rightly so? Which option is better? Thanks

where would be the best place for a 6'1 slim bloke who enjoys the "closeup experience" to sit without having to look up a lot. Stalls H 1 or 28, nothing in front. Yes, sometimes you may lose an inch at the edge of the stage, but at the Savoy the stalls have curved floors between each row so you can't put your feet under the seat in front. I'd also say the dress circle seats with nothing in front are worth it, but they won't give you the same "close up" you want theoracle . Thats all very useful to know. Thank you. I can sense this will be a very special experience, epitomising the very best in Musical Theatre

I did it! I bit the bullet! I have now successfully lost £95 for a wonderful seat on the first row in the dress circle, so I will see Sunday in the Park with George! After a recent successful theatre weekend in London which I enjoyed immensely, I am excited to do it again! Much to the dismay of my mom, who absolutely despises the idea of me wondering around London on my own... oh well. What's done is done!

It was a wonderful experience in NYC and have no reason to think it won't be in London. Jake is really a great George.

Love irisjeregenboog’s positivity and enthusiasm...Bravo! Sunday In The Park is going to be an epic show with real star quality and I too have spent a fair amount on tickets for this...should be well worth it!

Me too! I've booked for a champagne experience, C12 Stalls, I get to see Jake up close Do we know which row will be the front row yet? Or is the seating plan accurate?

I completely bit the bullet yesterday as well, parted with £100 of my fresh payday ££ and I'm feeding my Sondheim addiction on the 30th of June. I'm honestly so excited, I can barely wait!

As much as I am looking forward tp this ( and I really am) despite already having a ticket in hand, PLEASE do not let this be cancelled because of the virus!

How long have you had your ticket for? I'm still waiting for mine and booked the day they want on sale. I was not panicking as thought I had read that they were being sent out 2 weeks before but now I'm a bit concerned.

To be honest I can see this being cancelled or at least delayed. it's due to open at the expected peak of the outbreak. I highly doubt the actors will be over to rehearse anytime soon.

I bit the bullet and booked my ticket for first preview!!! Did the show at college - GUESS the character ... - 'REMEMBER GEORGE!' I have seen two other drama school productions since and I would say it's my favourite Sondheim / all time musicals!. So yes, holds a lot of sentiment and I turn 30 that month. I've hardly seen any theatre this year, so I can justify this splurge! It closed by one week when my friend and I went to NYC in 2017; I bought a window card in one of the stagey shops. With everything going on at the moment in the world and the precariousness of theatreland, its something to look forward to in June.

I really hope this isn’t cancelled but it isn’t that far away is it? Even if it’s pushed back Jake probably doesn’t have an open schedule - it’s not like he’s an out of work actor.

I took out a £2 insurance on my ticket. I may have to check the details.

OK. I feel quite cheap writing about my insurance on the ticket but it helps distract me from the wider picture, which is getting increasingly scary.

Could Jake pull out (on fairly legit grounds) and be replaced and all of us have to suck it up if the producers still move ahead? I’d be pretty pissed, not going to lie.

The June opening sounds a way off yet, but assuming they have a month of rehearsals, that's only about 6 or 7 weeks until they'd be due to start. Surely it's cancellation is just a matter of when? not if?
Thanks to the weird non-announcement ticket release I got decent seats to two performances as soon as they went on sale, before the prices got even more expensive, so I'll be pretty gutted to see this be cancelled.
