Starring Marcus Brigstocke and Mandy Patinkin ( for old times sake). I heard they were also trying to get Scott Bakula over to play the director.

The Royal Exchange did a fantastic job of it a few years ago.

I actually hope it is the Producers (though I don't think it will be) as I never got to see it in London. I was living abroad at the time.

Charlie Stemp would be great as Leo Bloom.

I have this weird idea for The Producers where they reverse the ages of Max and Leo which would make an interesting take of the piece.

Never again theatreian! Katy & I still reference it to this day 😂 I remember seeing it in London and hated it. I can't believe the Menier would even consider it really.

The Royal Exchange did a fantastic job of it a few years ago. The Producers was one of the best musicals the Royal Exchange have ever produced, incredibly funny .

Perhaps the producers of Bonnie & Clyde as Max Bialystock? Max got a set on his stage. The producers of B&C couldn’t get one to the next venue! 😂

So The Producers has gone from being lined up for Drury Lane to now the Menier. Talk about one extreme to the other 🤣

I would do anything to see The Producers back in Drury Lane with the original London cast, set and orchestra. It was absolutely out of this world. Was a 40th Birthday treat and I loved every minute. The best thing to happen was for Richard Dreyfuss to pull out. Can't see it scaled down to fit into the Menier though. It's a big show with lots of locations.
