FINALLY booked for second preview, knowing the NT. Ironically it was the one day I could do looking this far into the future.

If anyone was coming over, it was going to be Denis O'Hare considering the Waiter's Song was the one song that got popular with the show, and of course, he's an absolute devilish delight.
I did also like Rory Kinnear in the National's Threepenny Opera so am glad he's in this as well. He needs to sing more.
This is giving Precious from Come Fly With Me energy.

Yeah £20 for the first five rows is a warning sign rather than a bargain

I don't book the front five rows because of the nature of the seats rather than the view of the stage. I have serious mobility/pain issues after a car accident and find those narrow seats with their limited leg room to be purgatory. But in the old days pre accident when I did book them I can't remember the view of the stage necessarily being a problem. Not sure if this is true of both the Lyttleton and the Olivier.

I had one of those £20 seats once and nearly had to be carried out on a stretcher. No legroom and hardly any back to the seat. I was in so much pain I can't even remember what I saw. Never again. Bit those seats aren't really designed for old codgers like me. They are for the "youf' with limited budgets and are fit and healthy. However they seem to mostly be taken up by the wealthy members who get first dibs. But don't start me on that discussion.

Yes, I have issues with my knees so I never even touch front row seats unless I research them heavily beforehand. On Broadway the worst seats I've sat in were in the circle at Hamilton, which genuinely would've ruined the trip for me if I hadn't seen it on the day I flew back because I was unable to walk afterwards, and had to get them checked out. And I'm one of the "youfs"!

Hard disagree, front row Lyttleon are some of my favourite seats and I will be desperately searching for a pair at £20 or even £30 when my booking opens for this!

How many booster seats can I carry? I am 5'2" and have found the front row can be ok but it depends on the production. For This England they seemed to have raised the height of the stage quite a bit so even with a booster cushion my view was severely restricted. This reminds me of when I was in the centre of row B for Network in the Lyttleton. Because of the way the centre of the stage had been built out I could not help remarking to the chap next to me that they should not have sold him the seat as his view was so obscured that he would not be able to see much and perhaps he should complain. I was a bit puzzled as he did not seem to mind. Halfway through the play I understood why as he leapt out of his seat onto the stage. I had been chatting to one of the actors.

Booked two front row seats yesterday. I love and need front row and have often sat in the Lyttelton with no problem, didn't even find the seats uncomfortable. That said: after reading reviews on here I booked further back for "The Grapes of Wrath", because the stage was very high, couldn't even see the stage floor from row E. The first few rows always have a "restricted view" warning if I remember correctly, so let's hope for the best.

The First 4 Rows of the Stalls (including the Front Row) are £20 for the first 5 previews, after which they are £25 for Monday - Thursday Weekdays across the run, and £30 for Friday - Saturday Weekend Seats across the run.

Got my tickets! Loads of availability generally except the front rows of the stalls where it’s spotty.

Thanks so much! Anyone know if it's usually a big allocation or whether more goes on sale at public booking?

I think as this is a presale seating offer not a reserved seating offer that it’s just advance access ahead of the public? Someone correct me if I’m wrong

It's a presale perk, but just select seats I believe, unless it has changed since I last checked. I stopped using the Amex perk because usually they just give you a selection of the top band seats at the same price anyways 😒

Anyone trying for this, please see my post under the general National Theatre thread. It didn't sellout in NY, im sure tickets will become available despite the ruddy frustrating booking system. Deep breaths and good luck 👍
