Tell Me How It Ends - Liverpool Everyman Theatre

It’s Liverpool, 1987. The AIDS epidemic threatens a generation of queer people left with no one to turn to but themselves. Across the world, groups of lesbian women hold out their hands to help – and right here in this city, Aster sits by Marc’s hospital bed… watching, wondering and reading.

The play follows their friendship, and its inevitable conclusion. 

It is a very moving and funny play - the debut of playwright Tasha Dowd, directed by Gitika Buttoo, and performed by Emmy Stonelake and Luke Sookdeo. 

I got my ticket for £5 through ShowFilmFirst. 

The play is only about 75 minutes long, so there is no interval. 

I highly recommend!

I went to watch it on its first preview and throughly enjoyed it. A well written piece with plenty of laughs and tears in equal measure. Two terrific performances from Emmy and Luke. I’d definitely recommend seeing this. At around 75 mins, it was well paced and flew by.
