I queued for less than two minutes. After the shock subsided I was able to book a centre row H stalls ticket for the last preview. They don't seem to be booking seats much further forward. I've noticed a few times stalls nearer the front coming on sale nearer the opening. Note there are stage stalls seats available for this production also... That might be the reason... Did not notice that. Thanks

Are links transferrable or do they reset with a different IP address?

The queues going down fairly quickly, Romeo and Juliet was a real slog in comparison.

I was lucky and had a low number so got through in 15 minutes. I was totally confused by the stage stalls, are these on the stage like A Little Life? I went for row H of the normal stalls to be safe 😂. Lots of tickets still left when I was finished.

If you have ever seen "A Christmas Carol" at the Old Vic, the stage stalls seats enable the production to be staged in the round/thrust. Access is usually via steps at each side of the stage.

Well that was stressful! Got in at 12.25 and found a great seat in the second row of the on- stage stalls for the performance I wanted… only could I remember my OV website password?!
Must’ve tried at least a dozen of my usual ones but none were right so ended up booking with my work email address as the password reset link just took me to the long queue on the website. Aaarrrghhh. All checked out though and for £12.50 what’s not to like.

I’m through but getting an error message when I try adding tickets to my basket If it is about 'connecting to the box office' then someone else has nabbed them just before you clicked.

Managed to get them through “best available”. Went for stage stalls. My dad will think that’s cool at least and it seems there’s some pricey seats there for normal dates.

Nice work. My PWC seat looks to be £110 via standard pricing!

There are only 2500 tickets available via the PwC deal so really you want to be no further than 1200 in the queue ideally. Each buyer can buy a pair of tickets. You don't need to be that high because many people will have different numbers on their phone and desktop, and will discard the number that is larger. So for future reference, when would you advise one needs to start queuing for the PwC tickets? Many thanks!

When you join the queue before then does not matter.
Multiple devices and browsers will absolutely leave people to have more than one place in the queue, in my flat we'll have at least six sometimes closer to ten queue numbers and hope to get through in time. It's another reason to stay in the queue even if you have a high number.

Yes, the stage stalls are bargains at £10. If it sells well these will be nudging £180 towards the end of the run.

Hmmmm.... and I thought it was just me who had a Trunchbull / Dr Evil multi-device type set up at home for multiple queuing options...

Really glad to see what seems like very high levels of success for these tickets on the boards. I would quite possibly have missed the onsale without the post in this thread as my email only came through at 11:39, so many thanks to bigredapple

Great thanks, that's really helpful!

Booked for the first preview. Although I always end up so far back in the queue, I’ve only ever managed PwC tickets in the Baylis Circle.

Preview prices are on sale from midday. Lovely of them to send an email at 11am, a whole hours notice! So considerate Yes, just checked my email having been driving all day to find I've completely missed this sale. The courtesy the Old Vic affords theatregoers has been shocking ever since the days when it seemed to be comparatively well run under Spacey.

Not much chat on here about this one! Who’s going to the first preview later this week? I’m there in the stage seats early next week.

Wonder how many fires Matthew Warchus has had to put out in rehearsals for this one...

Apart from not having very interesting productions (for me), some dealings with the box office and staff have put me off booking anything in ages. I'm interested in the Stoppard so will try for that.
