Couldn't get cheap seats for any of the dates my friend could do so got one for me on a different date. As this was hard I'm guessing keyworker sale will be a bloodbath so didn't want to miss out entirely. I'm not a keyworker myself, but I really hope for the sake of those who are that it is properly managed and the right tickets go to the right people. I recall a similar deal for Sunset but no actual checks were done (as far as I am aware). I panicked about having the right paperwork with me (as don't really have paperwork proving my role) and it was just a normal scan. I'm more concerned with getting the tickets though, my friend has her heart set on it and is one the scheme would really benefit (assuming they are good seats at keyworker price again! I can settle for rear of the top level occasionally)

The irony being
Most people attending for the starring actor
Probably won’t understand half the play anyway

Might I suggest that the queue anguish has undoubtedly been exacerbated by people keeping multiple browsers and devices open? Not that I wouldn’t try the same, of course!

The irony being Most people attending for the starring actor Probably won’t understand half the play anyway Oh come on. Don’t be such a snob. It’s Romeo and Juliet, EVERYBODY did it at school. I’ll wager more than 50% of Brits can quote at least a few lines. It was even adapted as an animated film involving gnomes ffs it’s the single most widely known Shakespeare there is.

Am I right in thinking that ATG members get lumped in with the same queue as anybody who got a priority booking link? I cancelled my membership when the price went up anyway, but that is a shocking service, and the fact they have the audacity to not only charge members, but actually raise the price is laughable.

Oh yes. No extra time for us TC card members.

ATG are even suggesting to ATG+ members in the facebook group to use the dedicated ATG+ line on the 0330 102 7200 number. There's a chance it may be quicker than your current position in the queue if you are an ATG+ member.

I don't think it had been written when I went to school so I certainly didn't do it. In fact, I don't remember studying any plays or books at school and don't even remember English literature being taught. Mind you it was Cornwall in the early 70s so we were taught more things like how to charm a wart off someone's hand or how to make a pasty.

All booked, picked a Monday in June and there were a good selection of seats. All of May was red. The queue moved very quickly for the last 2000.

ok quite surprised, just got in via atg+ presale, was 28k in queue. But found some £25 restricted view seats which was really the only seats I was going to buy. Clicked on a date which said only £125 seats left and there they were so maybe worth clicking on dates just to see whats still available.

Well I’m still holding on at 12700 in the queue (yay court delays, I’ve been queuing for 3hrs 15min now), but the message has changed to:
“Thank you for your patience. We are still experiencing high demand for this event. Currently, pre-sale ticket availability is running low.“

ATH has tweeted that people will need to leave the presale queue and join general at 12 Thanks for sharing that :-) Message is now “ Thank you for your continued patience. We are still experiencing high demand for this production. We still have tickets available so please continue to hold on.” I’m at number 4600 in the queue and 20 minutes past the last time they said they’d call us into court….!
