Does anyone know how much tickets tend to be reduced by if you wait until day of to book? Hoping to catch Rachel next Monday but there’s very few tickets left so wondering if it’s worth taking the risk of cheaper tickets at all. I got a £30 ticket (with the discount code) on Monday morning, row F of the Dress Circle, perfect view. So, there is still a chance. (the downside of the seat was being bitterly cold during the interval when they opened the nearby door to street level) The biggest surprise to me is they are still making changes and restaging things. I doubt I'll get chance to go back and see this again before it closes, but this is really an excellent production. Is this discount automatically applied day off? Or where did you get the discount code? I did go to see the show a few weeks ago but I didn’t get the return discount code that I’ve seen some people talk about here.

Someone posted the link a good few pages back if you weren't sent one. But those discount seats with the return code have sold out for next Monday anyway. I had been keeping an eye for the last couple of weeks and then they all sold pretty suddenly. Edit: Link kindly posted by danb on page 78. I just can't get it to paste properly for me here.

You have to keep checking with the link. The tickets dynamically price, so the extra discount starts working when the ticket hits the right value. I’d not expect much to reduce before the day (although oddly, tickets dynamically going up in price can sometimes make the discount appear).

Saw this last night and it’s quite extraordinary, almost performance art. Audience went wild for Nicole however major, major applause for the rest of the cast as well. Even today, I can’t help thinking about it, I feel I’ve seen something really special. If it goes to Broadway I’d definitely think about going over to see it again. In the meantime, please can we have a cast album thank you

Don't think it'll be 'imminent' given the length of time before they go to Broadway

Major spoiler on the SB IG account. If click “email”, it goes to “sunsetblvdbway@gmail.com” lol Announcement imminent I think that's a by-product of being under ALW umbrella. The profile pic of that one is the Glenn Close Boulevard. Even the YT page to which this production posts trailers has been the same one as that one

Returned to see this one last time and it's still as great as it was before! Can see there was extra security during Tom's 'Sunset Boulevard', they even put a barrier up at one point? Wonder if it's because of the larger Christmas crowds.

I'm wondering if a cast recording will be done as part of the New York production starting in the late spring.
They would definitely want it to qualify for the Tony nominations and, if it works with the calendar, snag a spot for Scherzinger at least to belt one of the big numbers to drive ticket sales. Plus you can't really have Joe singing Sunset Boulevard in a nor'easter. If they record Broadway, they can milk it for publicity and maybe a Grammy nomination.

Don’t wish to be greedy, but I’m praying that if this cast recording does happen, then it’s complete and not just the fabled highlights.

If they did Broadway instead of London cast recording personally I’d be gutted. Not only are the London cast (and orchestra) perfection, but they’ve developed this from scratch and I think deserve to be on a recording if one happens. Also, surely given what everything is like on Broadway would be far cheaper and more cost effective to record it here. Finally it will then be ready to promote in NYC from day one and available to buy (or advertise digital download) at theatre from first preview! They’ve missed a trick going the entire London run with no recording to buy.

I can only assume they didn’t quite expect this to take off as it has. Limited run or no, this has been a huge seller, Mondays included.
They really done themselves dirty not having a CD or vinyl ready to go.

It would make sense that they'll wait a bit to release the cast recording to coincide with the Broadway transfer. Also, eligibility for Tony nominations is April 25th, so if they want those nominations, it will transfer either March or early April.
They could also score a Grammy nomination for Best Musical Theater Album.
Tbh, this is SO good that they should milk it all the way. Give us Broadway, a Cast Recording album, a TV Live Action (or official recording) and an official movie.
Nicole deserves an EGOT for this performance.

It's not going this season. ATG didn't want to put sunset and cabaret against each other as they're producing both. It's going next.

Always interesting how different people see things differently. In my opinion Nicole deserves the elbow, not an EGOT.

Not to mention that Merrily has become this massive hit on Broadway at the moment and the Sondheim sympathy vote coupled with already bias towards Sondheim I would think Sunset would get overlooked because of that alone in getting awards in NY

So it could be Nicole vs Katie Brayben, assuming she's going over for Tammy Faye.
For me that's a hard choice. Probably Brayben. But I guess that all depends on how both characters are received over there.

New interview with NS So, if Sunset Boulevard ends up transferring to Broadway – as it’s rumoured to do – will she be going this time? “Yes. I’ve always dreamed of going to Broadway and I still can’t believe I’ve never done it. And what a beautiful way this would be to make my debut.” theglossarymagazine.com/arts-culture/nicole-scherzinger-interview/
