S’ok. She’s not at Wembley for a fortnight. She's only performing for a few days anyways. We can watch our show with pretend trains, and she can pretend that she wrote all those songs. I presume we're talking about Mica Paris?

Has anyone got a sense of what the view will be like from the back of the main big seating block? Take a look at this site for an idea: aviewfrommyseat.co.uk

In one of those wonderful coincidences on Sunday July 7th you could see the 1pm matinee of starlight and providing its been kept in the score hear the song AC/DC. Then toddle down to the stadium and see rock band AC/DC in concert in the evening. They also play the stadium July 3rd so when the musical cast sing the song the band will be getting ready to go on stage. Bruce Springsteen and green day also have concerts there this summer along with all the Taylor swift ones so any board members heading there could find their musical train adventure starting before they get to the Troubadour if the concert goers start a singalong on the tube. Link to wembley events 2024 below if you have booked and want to check if there is a clash. There is also the arena nearby but that shouldn't be the level of impact of the stadium events. www.wembleystadium.com/events

Thanks, Just found out Bruce Springsteen is on when we are going on 25th July. At least his shows are long so hopefully will have left before his finishes! It says for Starlight the show is 2hrs including interval so should end at 9.30 ish. I hadn't realised Starlight was so short.Bruce will not be finished then!

Run time is 2 hrs 20 mins, incl. interval according to an email they sent today with a ‘what you need to know’ section.
‘Starlight Express features roller skating on tracks close to the audience, pyrotechnics, flashing and strobe lighting effects, haze, simulated sparks, flame and smoke effects, and some loud sound effects’
Sounds like they’re really going for it on the special effects

The Betfred Women's and Men’s Challenge Cup Final takes place at Wembley on 8th July. No idea how many attend, but its gotta be big to be at Wembley Stadium. Hopefully you'll miss all the crowds.
Looking fwd to seeing it on Sunday

Oh that looks so cool! Totally different feel to Bochum or original London, very SciFi-esq and I'm into it 😀 I do wonder about what's going to come of the whole moving seat thing, as the seats at the front aren't swivel chairs like in Bochum.

Some of the bends on that track are very sharp, almost right angles.
Didn’t the moving seats thing get quietly dropped ages ago? .

They've taken it off the ticket listing's, but I've seen it written on Facebook and Insta that it's still a thing, so no idea. I guess not, as the ticket listing would be the most credible source.

According to MJT, that's the view when you come out of the toilets to the main auditorium entrance. A strategic placement!

14 million advance sales. Has any musical achieved that in recent years?
