I went for 2 ‘first class carriage’ seats, CC18/19. Intrigued by the note on the tickets: ‘please note, seats surround main performance area and move during the show’ Interesting!!

Yes, this is a worry for me too. The sound for Newsies was truly awful and made the whole experience less enjoyable. Hopefully they find a way to fix that.

That was relatively painless. Booked for 3 shows.

Roll on June 2024.

I have actually been going to roller skating classes for a while now - long before this was announced. It's just for fun and learning a few moves (Crazy Legs is not my friend) but there is 1 person in the group who is auditioning for the show.

This seems to have happened to a lot of people - lots commenting on the show’s Instagram posts. They seem to be sending people the links directly when they comment - could try that?

Thanks for those further up who highlighted the cheaper seats - I've grabbed some more for a later performance. I have no idea what the venue is like, but as a few folk recommended the £29 tix, I went for them. Cheers!

Easy to get through to the booking page straight away now. Albeit I saw the prices for half decent seats and have decided against booking yet!

I had over 7,000 people ahead of me when I first looked. Went back a couple of hours later and 'walked' straight in. Saw the prices and walked straight out. Sorry, I'm not that big a fan.

Had a look at this, but I only want front row of the First Class Carriage area - not willing to book further back as I can't see how it can possibly have a decent rake. Also, in general I don't sit behind people unless I have absolutely no choice and really want to go. Oh well, I'll keep an eye out when general sale happens.

It would be interesting to see exactly how many of the 100k bought tickets and how many left without purchasing for whatever reason (most likely pricing).

Sitting in the revolving seats would be fun but then i think you'd miss the people skating around the perimeter, so I'm torn where to sit.

Also, they are doing a 5 show weekend so i highly doubt the leads - Pearl, Greasball, etc will be doing all of those shows as it will too taxing on the body. I would think they all would get 1 show off a week at least...I think it will be challenging to get the full cast after previews with injuries, shows off, etc.

I am a big fan but my budget puts me in the back corner of the Troubadour, of which I am not a fan! Hoping some restricted ones near the front get added, or maybe single seat discount!

It’s a 4 show weekend, not 5. 5 would be extremely brutal!! They have 2 on Saturday and 2 on Sunday. Do we know what the preview period is? Which performance will be press/opening night?
