I am struggling to work out what tracks are available in the Venn Diagram intersection of "musical theatre anthems" and "rave".
I remember all the Almighty and Loading Bay dance remixes of show tunes back in the day, but they were all HiNRG and definitely not rave material.
Raves started off as acid house and Madchester and quickly morphed into the hard house/trance and happy hardcore scenes. Is the term now being used for any music where people dance?

I would hope they would play the club version of "I just want to dance". Then you have Ethel Merman does disco (a gem of campness), there is also a disco Sondheim album which is a bit odd!
