I could see still Giant, Cat on a a Hot Tin Roof, Playing Nancy transferring, I could also see the Bath production of The History Boys coming in. Do you mean Becoming Nancy? Playing Nancy is the Groundhog Day song.... don't worry, I have made the exact same mistake about 100 times by now 😫

As drmaplewood has posted, Romola Garai leaves The Years on 8th March - Fawlty Towers closes on 1st March at the Apollo, which very strongly suggests that Giant will in fact go to the Apollo. That only really leaves the Noel Coward and Garrick free in Q1 next year, as well as the DOY and Wyndham's from April.

The Ambassadors will be free from end of February. Benjamin Button might extend? Having just looked through the sales for the next week it's very quiet, other than this week. Is that because of half term sales this week or does it regularly sell out closer to the performance, or with on-the-day sales?

The Ambassadors will be free from end of February. Benjamin Button might extend? It could extend, it could also close earlier than that, especially if it struggles to Xmas, but as of now it is closing at the end of February.

Benjamin Button sells a lot of tickets on the door but not many advance bookings which could prove trouble
Not papering ATM but it needs to pick up speed to justify an extension.

Ghost 2:22 has an announcement tomorrow about filing a gap. Garrick? Oh Christ noooooooooo It's theatrical nail fungus. You just can't get rid of it. I thought it hadn't even done that well over the summer at the Gielgud?

I assume 2:22 would only be able to run 6-8 weeks tops at the Garrick if there is another show planned for the Spring like Giant or possibly The Producers.

The Last Laugh fills in the Coward from 25 Feb for a month. Dark after Strangelove or another short filler? Hopefully then a run of something from early April.

I read that Here there are Blueberries, which had a well received run in NY earlier this year and was shortlisted for the Pulitzer, is having an international tour next year. Sonia Friedman is producing so I imagine there will be a London run somewhere.

With Unicorn at the Garrick confirmed, the WE theatres are filled up until the Spring. I wouldn't be surprised if we find what is replacing Fawlty Towers at the Apollo fairly soon, my guess is Giant.

Giant is transferring to the Harold Pinter, I wonder if the Apollo is getting The Comedy About Spies from March?

Good odds on this but I thought someone said it was booked into the Garrick? Still, someone also said Giant would be at the Apollo when it's just announced to go the Harold Pinter.

Still, someone also said Giant would be at the Apollo when it's just announced to go the Harold Pinter. I don't remember a reference to the Garrick, just somebody saying they knew they had a theatre booked. We're all just guessing based on availability timings I think aren't we? Haha. Why wait for a theatre you can't have until the end of April when you could have one at the beginning of March? So, now that The Years & Giant have come to fruition, what else are we predicting and where..? The Comedy About Spies, Becoming Nancy, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Natasha Pierre etc, Hamlet (RSC), Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Manhunt? We're running low on gossip!

Whatever happened to The Hunger Games announced for January 2025 and now not even a hint. Was that meant to be going into a purpose-built theatre?

I'm interested about what might follow Brnjamin Button at the Ambassadors? I think Paranormal Activity would transfer brilliantly into there considering the size
