Adam Lambert or Sam Ryder as Galileo?

So Mum mentioned this to me today - I’ve never seen it and we’re both huge Queen fans.
Should I book now whilst I’ve got my pick of seats, or hold out for deals nearer the time? Any thoughts?
Excited by the possibility of previous cast members returning, I love Mazz Murray. And if they booked Adam to do it that’d be incredible!

Please keep Carrie Hope Fletcher and Jordan Luke Gage away from this.

Please keep Carrie Hope Fletcher and Jordan Luke Gage away from this. I can't imagine what role CHF could play in this, honestly. I do hope I don't regret saying that! JLG I rarely object to but I'd rather someone a bit less polished!

Please keep Carrie Hope Fletcher and Jordan Luke Gage away from this. Carrie doesn't have the sass to play Killer Queen or the quick wit to play Saramouche, or the range to play Meatloaf, i really hate to see her slaughter 'No one but you'

Sharon should reprise her role as the killer Queen and Ramin should play Galileo (not sure when he’s done with funny girl). Or Oli Tompsett would be great too. I think he may have done the part. And get Miriam-Teak Lee as Meat.

Oliver and Ramin are both in their 40s, too old for Galileo now (although Oliver was brilliant in the role back in the day). I'd assume Jordan Luke Gage is pretty high on their list.
Kerry Ellis should be Killer Queen, it would be a nice evolution in her history with the show.

As long as Brenda Edwards is no where near this one!!
Kerry Ellis as Killer Queen is something I'd thought about when this was announced, could definitely see it happening.

Brenda Edwards has always been incredible in everything I've seen her in.
Rachel would be great as well, agreed.

I decided to go ahead and book whilst we could take our pick of dates and rows - got great centre stalls seats, and I used the last of my o2 Priority Theatre Tokens which softened the blow a bit!
Very much enjoying the casting speculation! Not knowing the show and roles it’s hard to say who would be good for which part, but I’ll second the ‘Brenda Edwards is incredible in everything I’ve seen her in’ comment so I’d be happy for her to be cast as KQ - know she played the role for years at the Dominion so would be nice for her to have chance to return.
And Rachel Tucker is fantastic so wouldn’t complain about her either. Guess it’ll be a fair while before we get any names confirmed…

I don't think producers will employ her after missing so many performances of Dreamgirls

Is this production expected to bring in a top cast? The last tour was awful and I thought that the show would have lost its edge since its original dominion run, especially with its very outdated script and jokes. I would say it needs to go back to the original production before all the story and character changes, but have a total rewrite to make it appealing again.

I would say that Kerry as Killer Queen is almost a shoe-in - Mazz is busy doing Mamma Mia so it is the next obvious fit and Kerry has a working relationship with Brian for nearly 20 years.
I would also say Jordan is pretty likely for Galileo sadly - the Coli is huge, and they need the fangirls to buy the tickets, so they'll have to cash in on who's the most popular right now and he's definitely up there. Would line up for him to double up rehearsals and B7C performances for the last fortnight, and then finish B&c on 20th May and get ready to open WWRY on 2nd June... As with B&C he'll sing it fine but 0 performance going on...
I just hope the magic of the original is there, with performers who'll knock it out of the park. It's a stupid show, but I had some of the most fun nights in the theatre of my LIFE at this show.
