At the weekend, I finally got round to seeing it but with some trepidation as i wasnt the biggest fan of Peter Pan and the telly series. Thankfully the original is very good, but long. I know it was originally a one act job but bar sales are bar sales!

Name that stands out there for me is Daniel Fraser. He was actually in The Mousetrap a couple of years ago as Giles Ralston. Makes me wonder if anyone else has appeared in both? I guess if anyone knows it’ll be Dawnstar ? The only person I can think of off the top of my head is Laurence Pears, who played Giles Ralston in the tour a couple of years ago. I didn't see him in it though as by the time it got round to my local theatre the cast had changed. In fact I've never actually seen The Mousetrap. I can't say I recognise the names of anyone in the new TPTGW cast apart from Daniel Anthony. |

marob I've thought of another sort-of one. He's not been in TPTGW but in The Comedy About A Bank Robbery: George Hannigan, current WE Sergeant Trotter.

I almost didn't go to this as it just looked a bit cheap and goofy from watching the trailer, but man am I glad I did.
I honestly can't remember the last time I laughed that much.
Just a week ago I saw Book of Mormon and while it's a completely different type of humour, in my opinion, this blows it out the water, in terms of 'laughs per minute'.
I'd say, if you're a fan of Top Secret/Naked gun/Airplane and Monty Python sort of jokes, you'll love this.
It's also way funnier that Operation mincemeat - no catchy songs though, as this is purely a play.
Initially, I thought it would just be a lot of people who kept falling over their feet but it's so much more than that; cast "forget" their lines, the set falls apart etc. It's all really quite cleverly done. If this is even remotely your kind of humour, you owe to yourself to go and see it.
