I've found front row especially on the corners a bit tight on the knees, but excellent value otherwise.
I've gone for the early show as I'm still holding out for West End Eurovision (MadTrust) tickets and it's the same night. And I'm supposed to be cheering on at the London Marathon that morning too (not running, absolutely not running) ... Can't see me doing that, going home and then coming out again in the evening.

Booked for the evening. Really loved this last year (as did my teenage son) so we'll both be there to hear this glorious score again!

What a delightful show this is. From my initial reading of the synopsis I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it but I absolutely loved it.
At its heart a simple, tragic love story but the score is magnificent, lyrics exquisite and the cast at The Other Palace tonight performed beautifully, especially Nikita Johal.
Well deserving of a fully staged West End run. Immediately in my personal top five of the year to date,, pushing Waitress down to number six

An email to say my front row was moved to central Row B behind the two piano's was delightful! Enjoyed the view of the score from my seat as well as a perfect view of the stage.
A few mic problems in the early show. Hadn't realised Jeremy Secomb was in this so that was a good surprise. I found the pacing a bit too slow but loved the story, the score, the lyrics. And am a bit in love with Benjamin Purkiss, him of the floppy hair.

The seat next to me was unoccupied though the show was a near sellout. Really like this venue.

Seats £10 and £20 in the New Year London Theatre sale. I think all £10 for the previews, just booked for the first Sunday performance. Love this show !

I saw this over the weekend and have to say I wasn't the biggest fan. The instrumental opening was gorgeous and I thought that I was actually going to love the music, but by the time the show ended I didn't enjoy it as much as I was expecting to. I thought the songs themselves were generally was ok, but they were fairly similar and there were a few too many solo expositional type songs for me. The best parts of the show for me were the parts where they had 2 or more of the actors singing in harmony together. Nadim Naaman and Lucca Chadwick Patel (who played the younger version of Nadim's character) singing together was lovely! The lyrics and dialogue overall were a bit cheesy for me, something along the lines of "You have buried my heart under this dirt" and so on. The plot was also fairly predictable and I'm not really sure what the in the round staging added, but it was nice to see a show comprised entirely of MENA actors telling this story. I'm glad I saw it, but won't be looking to see this again. 3 stars for me.

Many 5 and 4 star reviews being shared across social media after those early ones. Saw this yesterday matinee and was so moved by it. The score is so gorgeous, and the cast excellent. Soophia Foroughi could sing at me all day long!
Theatre was not only full but the most diverse audience I’ve ever seen at a London musical. Tears throughout and all around me. Think those cynical early reviews quite blatantly miss the point - or rather prove the writers’ point: not sure how anyone can watch all of that unfold for a young girl forced into a marriage and sit there thinking there’s no plot. Just because they can’t relate to something, they chose to dismiss it as boring rather than consider how other people might. This show is clearly meant to be different, about how we perceive and treat other cultures. It does just that and with a stunning score. Yes, it’s a bit old-fashioned in some ways, but that’s fine by me. It felt reminiscent in style to the more epic musicals from the 90s and 00s. We’ve quite enough jukebox musicals, transfers from America of juggernauts or overly riffed, shouted pop/rock.
Last think I’ll say is that the band is incredible. There are only six of them listed in the programme, it sounds like there are twice as many musicians. And those strings! Will probably book again for the end of the run and see how it’s developed.

I really enjoyed this tonight, a rare Sunday night musical. Score was a bit samey at times, although this got better in the second act. I preferred the numbers with more of the cast rather than the numerous solos and duets. The sound mix was great, could hear every word which really helped.
It seems to be on TKTS daily for £22.50 which is a great price. Definitely go on the “regular” side of seating, I definitely feel it was more directed our way.

Meh, I thought this was alright but I definitely wasn’t mesmerised by it the way others were. The songs are well performed but the young Gibran today was clearly struggling with some of the high notes and sustaining belts. Selma was very good and I think Nadim Naaman seemed very pleased with himself during the bows. I don’t know if this was supposed to be a critique of the Middle East or plainly critical of the culture but I was unsure of where the show wanted to take us. The characters are well formed but it wasn’t quite compelling enough for me I’m afraid and whilst there were moments showcasing emotional depth, there weren’t enough of these moments in my opinion. The theatre was about 60% full when I went in so it’ll be interesting to see what happens after this run.

Really enjoyed this this evening. A gorgeous score expertly performed - there’s some real vocal powerhouses on that stage! And the band are amazing too.
I wouldn’t say it’s a perfect show, but I had a good evening.
Definitely agree with the previous comment of sitting on the regular side of the theatre - I was on the other side and definitely felt like the other side got more of the ‘I’m going to stand here with my arms open wide and belt the final note’ moments.

Saw this Saturday evening after my Ocean at the End of the Lane show was cancelled and left me scrambling for a replacement and decided upon this from a shortlist of Cinderella, DEH and BW. Really enjoyed it and so glad I gave it a chance. Worked well in the small intimate theatre, loved the set and staging and the small band were outstanding. Loved the story, the acting and singing all round and left very happy. Probably about 100 people in so not full by any means but all seemed very much to embrace the story and show. Great to see this amongst everything else thats running at the moment, and without the cancellation of my original show, I may not have seen it at all. Really enjoyed.
