She's also performing in it, which is very appropriate since she played Mother in the original London production of Ragtime

Not to read too much into this.
Derek Klena is in London this week... (Anastasia)
I wonder if he's involved.

This should be a great concert. I really loved their "A Man of No Importance" at the Union (and a transfer to the Arts).
Surprised we haven't had Anastasia in London (or a UK Tour) yet. I also wish we could get the recent Once on This Island production - it was fantastic.

Carrie Hope Fletcher, Rob Houchen, Cedric Neal, Lucy St Louis, Summer Strallen.

Lynn Ahrens : “After two long years of uncertainty what a wonderful way to celebrate the return to theater. I’m honoured to have my work back on the boards in London!”
Stephen Flaherty: “I can’t wait to have our music and lyrics back on the West End in the historic Lyric Theatre, under the direction of our Ragtime leading lady and friend, Maria Friedman. What an evening it’s going to be!”

Perhaps she'd like a crack at Cinderella.

Got an email and text today saying this has been rescheduled to September 12 for some reason. I guess it’ll give CHF time to get over Cinderella and her ‘Covid throat’

Weird, especially given that there were big Broadway names attached to this (to be announced)
I guess it just wasn't selling

Maybe the names backed out and it wasn't selling well enough already?
