Saw this this afternoon and really enjoyed it. The matinee started ten minutes late because of understudy rehearsals but all three actors were excellent.

Fairly full with all three levels open this evening. Really enjoyed that, the relationship between the three lads so natural and so believable. Funny and touching. I had dismissed it at Bush (where I normally go a lot) due to the football aspect but that was - as usual - my silly mistake.

Saw the play this week, absolutely loved it! A wonderful performances from all 3 leads and 90 mins flew past. 5 stars and a strong recommendation from me.

Let's see: basic storytelling, dull characters, repetitive dialogue, all padded out to fill a 90 minute running time, and then a nothing of an ending.
The nicest thing I can say is that it's not quite as inane as 'seven methods of killing kylie jenner' which the critics previously pretended was evidence of a promising playwright. But this should never be transferring to a venue like this in a million years and the poor box office performance shows the limits of all the pretence.
File under the soft bigotry of low expectations.

Saw this last night and quite enjoyed it.
It's a good play about growing up, following your dreams, having responsibilities etc. For us who's into football, it certainly helps having that as the main theme, although it's certainly not the only focus here.
