Very sad for any show to close after so few performances and no doubt so much work, hopes and dreams. I was there last Tuesday afternoon and while I felt it needed some work and cuts it's an entertaining little show. Maybe Gatsby musical could now be moved into The Large - on my way to see that right now.

Not surprising really. They had barely sold any tickets, comps for every performance, injuries, and Covid. Maybe they could take the chance to rewrite a lot of the show. There is a decent story in there, but it's buried deep.
No doubt if it does return, there will be a character who has long covid, just another hot topic/issue to add to the list.

Gatsby only sold 27 seats last night, so not sure there's the demand to put it in the Large even if they could do with the stage space

I asked at the Box Office and they won't be moving Gatsby. About 50 here this afternoon
