How hilarious/awful/sweet is this programme? Needing a release from life so I’ve been trawling Disney+ and passed by Newsies (and the less said about the absent Frozen 2 or ‘Skywalker’ that were advertised).

Frozen 2 and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker are bound by existing contracts with Sky that prevent them from being shown earlier. |

Why are they used on the advert for it then? I can't say I've seen any adverts that have included Rise of Skywalker in them but they may have passed me by. They did put out a full list of everything that would be included a week or so ago. And it will be on there in a few months time. Hopefully we'll get to a point where all these existing deals will end and Disney will have full control as it's a great service. Anyway back to Encore, I've fallen in love with it. It has brought back so many memories of performing shows in school and it's such a great idea. I hope that it gets a second season. |

I believe there is already a second season in the states. I may be wrong, but I'm sure I saw a trailer for a school revisiting High School Musical.

High School Musical is episode 10 of the first (and so far only) season.

I am loving Encore. So many nutso people and some talent too. That woman in Annie get your gun who wanted an explanation from her high school boyfriend was wild.
I love the Anything goes cast, gorgeous voices and a really lovely group.

Just watched the first episode. Like a lot of reality shows, it's mostly about the people and the show being performed was secondary, but it was enjoyable and there's a certain feel-good quality about it all.
Not one of those series to rush through, but one that's a nice change to dig into occasionally.
