An exceptional performance by Kimberly Nixon.
A story of the internet, isolation and mental health, a young woman who cannot cope with real life following an incident at home and a freak incident manifests itself as withdrawl from society and becoming defined by her followers and their appreciation.
Sitting in the front row makes it voyeuristic, the set is so intimate and the performance so natural that it felt as if you were in the room with her which was amplified when made a personification of one of her demons.
If nothing else I believe it provides an accurate portrayal of a forum moderator and look forward to the writers next play, Original Theatre Monkey.

Ok, so when you say forum mod, you mean TM. Not me.

Saw the matinee yesterday, first time in such a small theatre with such a tiny audience. 70 seats for the Jermyn but I counted just 27 in yesterday afternoon. Makes for an intimate feel and the I liked the set. Its a one woman show, and Kimberley Nixon was very good carrying the whole thing for nearly an hour and a half right through, as has been said its about mental health/the net/social media etc(and an old rabbit suit). Some funny lines(rarely laugh out loud ones but more chuckle inwardly to yourself ones) that did really hit the nail on the head on some issues, and the whole thing moves along and doesn't drag. I guess theres deeper issues to go into with the main topic and am not sure that gets looked at in any great depth, but overall I enjoyed the show and it definitely got the social media part with the forums, sharing sites and comments etc bang on.

I've just been to the last night as it was the only performance I could make. I wish I had been able to go to an earlier one so I could tell people how brilliant it is while they would still have had a chance to go themselves.
I hope it goes on to have a further life although part of the experience is being so close in a tiny theatre.
